“Overall I believe the TAs were very difficult when marking assignments. After the course I showed my colleagues who work in a school their feedback and they also believed that the feedback was very harsh. Because of their harsh feedback I had to do an extension which put me over budget.”

“I enjoyed the 120-hour premier online course. It's really helpful, well planned, very informative and easy to follow as it can be done at your own pace and time, day or night. I truly appreciate the tutor's help, recommendations and detailed feedback on all my assignments. In terms of technical and organizational issues, I didn’t face any. But I got the impression that if I had any problems, they would be promptly fixed. I recently purchased another online course from this company and I think actions speak louder than words”

“After years of teaching as a qualified teacher, I want to expand my skillset to give to my community as a volunteer, teaching English to community's newcomers. The TEFL training was wonderful, reviving my cloudy memories of English grammar I learned growing up, but also teaching me some new concepts. Whether 'concept checking' conscioously or not, it was good to bring it to a place at the forefront of my thinking and target my teaching with greater clarity and success for the learners. The PPP and skills lesson formats were useful - giving a solid foundation for transition from presentation of a concept to its practice and application (or production)..... more comprehensive than the 'I do', 'We do', 'You do' progression from which I have often worked. Video teaching examples were great although volume of videos made it necessary to rely on the transcripts on many occasions. While the price of the training was made very attractive as a sale, I would strongly consider a higher price if there were lifetime access on our account to the coursework we have completed. If we were considering further TEFL study it would be sensible to know if further courses cover the same or similar material we have already covered. Overall a great trainign and confidence in teaching English as a foreign language is a big gain in completing this material.”

“I found it a bit challenging at first, as I've never taught English before. However, the units were well planned and comprehensive. It's platform was user friendly. I must admit the course covered quite a bit more than expected, but proved to be beneficial. I'm happy I chose TEFL.”

“I felt the training was helpful, but I wish it was more interactice specifically on the Grammar module which was VERY long and not interesting at all. I liked the modules that we had to submit and type lesson plans for. Having a tutor review and make suggestions made the modules feel more like a real class.”

“Hi, I have completed the 40 hour English teaching online course. After completion I feel like I have not gained much over sight as to teach a lesson online. There was a few videos examples but the 'students' in the videos were clearly native English speakers and they knew exactly what the teacher was saying. I feel like this does not show the reality of teaching online to non native English speakers. I feel like I do not have the confidence going forward to pursue teaching English online. The module on how to set up my website and thorough enough and that was excellent advice and it gave me all the resources I needed.”
