“The course was great! It definitely gave me the fundamentals necessary for teaching English as a foreign language. Everything was clear and well organised. The assessment tasks helped me gain confidence in preparing lessons and hopefully my new skills will also come in handy once I start teaching.”

“I really enjoyed the course. I thought it was well planned and laid out, easy for me to follow. I was able to do it at my own pace and on my own schedule. Help was only an email away and there was always a tutor available to give detailed feedback about assignments and tests. This platform is very professional and friendly and the quality of education is top-tier. I truly recommend TEFL.org for gaining astounding knowledge, both practical and theory in teaching English as a second language.”

“I enjoyed being able to go through the course at my own pace. The only problem I had was with the 'Teach Large Classes' course there were no examples to base my answer on. I even looked it up online and found people had similar problems 2-3 years ago. If there was a some more examples or even a video of someone teaching a large class i think it would be really beneficial.”

“First of all, I would like to dedicate this feedback about this wonderful course to my dear daughter who had advised me to look for a professional online opportunity to drag myself out of my present comfort zone and give it a try. Live and learn , they say. After having had so many years of teaching experience I needed an out-of-the-box challenge to brush up my deficient knowledge about teaching. After so many hours of classroom observations from other teachers about my lessons I felt I still lacked true guidance. I was right. With my 168-hour TEFL course I could really reflect on my own teaching method, have my own lesson observations :) with the help of the mini videos and gain more practical knowledge in a graceful, inviting and amicable way presented by these wonderful TEFL teachers. Amazingly so, this had not only been a learning experience in the sense of mere methodological knowledge but a cultural one as well.Thank you so much for that. The knowledge , the structure, the relaxed and reassuring tone of the videos and texts reinforced my confidence and had given me great value. Assistance from customer support and tutor about any questions had been excellent, absolutely helpful , no matter what. Feedback from my assigned tutor had always been on time . Classroom demonstration videos offered so much fun for I have never seen such a delightful class and teachers who could bring out the best from people from all walks of life. If I had to make just one remark, I would say that student speaking time was not so high during the mini video lessons. Somehow I feel the goal for future teachers is to understand and observe methodology in focus . And that is the explanation . Also, the Telephone Teaching Course (now online classes) would need a refreshment, but otherwise I would not change it anyways because somehow it contributes to the authenticity of this meticulously prepared course of a small group of dedicated individuals who put their heart in it. So I think it is perfect this way. What I also find really valuable that you are sent a link for a live session several times a week that will provide you with information about numerous up-to-date topics and questions connected to teaching on a broad scale. I would like to thank for this once in a lifetime opportunity , because it felt like I had been warmly greeted by hosts of a country I had never visited in my life. You are a super team!”

“Great course!Totally recommended. Thank you TEFL.org! Suggestions for improving: -Including more classroom videos with Elementary students. -Design an online module for getting familiar with Zoom /ClassIn (before the Online Classroom Sessions) - As part of the Video Observation Course, it could be useful to be invited to real online classes delivered by experienced TEFL teachers (Maybe our tutor's actual classes). For example, watch an online class related to each Module of the course. - Include a unit on Evaluation/Grading and Exam Creation.”
