“Enrolling this course is one of the best things that has happened to me. The course itself is not an easy though, but I'm totally sure it's because The TEFL desire is to make as good teachers. I'm so grateful for this opportunity and so happy for finally completing it. I'm also thankful for assigning me such a great tutor Alex, who has helped and guided me throughout the course. I will surely say all the best about the tefl.org when I go to SE Asia and recommend it to others. Praises and best wishes for all the staff of TEFL.”

“I had a good experience doing the course, not a hassle to get a response. When I ran into an issue regarding a one week extension payment I did out of confusion, I was swiftly refunded due to the misunderstanding. I enjoyed the feedback from my tutor very much. I think the only thing is that I think some of the videos are from far back, It would be nice to see them being redone soon”

“An excellent easy-to-use programme that prepares you with the skills and qualifications needed by many employers. The feedback provided by your tutor is straight to the point about what you need to do to complete the course. Recommended if you want to go into teaching English as a foreign language.”

“Thank you for your teaching about grammar and also different types of situations one might find when teaching. I was surprised by the approach TEFL used in different situations but I realise that you are faced with people from quite a different culture and language. I have been learning French for a few years and their approach is quite classical, so I benefitted from the new way I saw in TEFL teaching and hopefully I will be able to implement the teaching you gave me in order to help those I hope to teach!”

“Tefl was easy to navigate and use. I appreciate that there is only 48hrs before feedback, that was very good. However I did feel like I had to wait a long time sometimes to get a reply from the tutors. Overall happy.”

“I found the grammar course the most interesting and I learnt a lot from that module, however some of the assessments were not very effective as you could randomly select true or false and then the quiz would be marked and tell you if you were right/wrong, meaning on your next go - you could work out the answers even if you didn't understand the questions. This was particularly true for the Video Observation course where the questions asked you 'which lesson was better? the good one or the bad one?'”

He reviewed my assignments quickly, and his comments were sharp and eye-opening. Whenever I had missed the mark on any assignment, Alan was quick to point out these mistakes while at the same time suggesting solutions and different ways of dealing with the situation. “An impressive, enjoyable and comprehensive course covering English Grammar and Teaching Methodology. As someone who learned English informally as my mother tongue, the grammar section frequently had me saying to myself 'How did I not know this?'. The training methodology sections provide a structured approach to various situations and scenarios and are full of useful tips and suggestions. I use the learnings and materials to teach refugees and it is a pleasure to see the lights switch on and the progress they through the application of the TEFL methodology.”

“I took the 120-hour TEFL course, I was positively surprised by how well explained the course was, and how much information, videos and examples were there to guide you throughout the course. The comments/feedback you get from your tutors is so helpful when doing your assignments. I highly recommend this course to whoever wants to dip his toes in the pool of English teaching.”
