“My tutor was hugely helpful in her feedback and often graded assignments in less than 24 hours. The grammar section was taught in a way I found very helpful as it gave an outside perspective for native English speakers in seeing the challenges of teaching and explaining a skill which comes “naturally” to us. The methodology section was terrific and gave a variety of ideas to apply in teaching classes of all ages. I’m very glad I took this course! I now feel better equipped moving forward to successfully pursue teaching abroad.”

“I had a great experience with TEFL Org, I enjoyed taking the online virtual classroom course, having the interaction with a teacher and other students was fun and also gave me a way to practice a lot of things I saw during the online course. I have no negative things to say, Arthur was a great tutor who guided me throughout the course and the virtual class with Stephen was a joy to take.”

“I am so glad I picked this TEFL program. It was very clearly organized and engaging. I liked that the presentation of the material was a mix of videos, reading, and interactive activities, which kept me focused and engaged. The information provided was very helpful, from breaking down grammatical structures to discussing classroom management. I have a BA in English from about 10 years ago, so the grammar piece was a helpful refresher. The hardest part is training my brain to think about language in a more comprehensive and grammatical way than just how I naturally speak! Overall an excellent and engaging course; I would highly recommend it to anyone.”

“It was good. I think there are some mistakes in the quizzes that would need to be reviewed. The fast feedback was great. It was a good review for me to prepare courses for next year. Also, some times the final sections videos make reference to issues that were never dealt with along the previous materials, which should also be reviewed. All in all, it was good to go over the whole content. I, again, say that I wish there were more cultural sections that should have been added to this course. We teach culture always, and honestly, I have missed that perspective in this course. I know there are other courses that deal with clture, but.... this one should have been presenting some aspects on how to teach culture, that is for sure. Thank you for everything. Toni”

“I was impressed with the feedback I received. I have taken online courses before and assignments were graded with a form response. My tutor, Arthur, gave individual feedback for all of my assignments. He also gave suggestions for improvement and provided additional lesson ideas. I highly recommend TEFL.org”

“While I learned some useful things in the course to aid me in teaching, I did not feel completely satisfied. I am already teaching B1-C1 level students. The training seemed to be more helpful for teachers of A1 level students. But I appreciate the experience and certificate.”

“Thanks to this course, I better understand how to deliver grammar and phonology to my students. I could learn about different approaches to teaching and so much more! This course also made me think about the whole learning process. My teacher Alex was very patient and I am happy for his help. When I had a problem, the support helped me to solve it immediately. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to teach abroad or online.”

“I have enjoyed the course a lot, I found a lot of new information even though I am studying English Language. I have completed Level 4 and wanted to add modules to get level 5, which I was told, was impossible. A bit bizarre, especially when Universities allow for credit transfer. All in all, a great and informative course. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to start the teaching journey.”

Hi Paulina, Thank you so much for your great review! We're unsure what you mean by a level 4 course though, as TEFL courses are measured in hours rather than levels. The reason a Level 5 TEFL course is called as such is because of Ofqual. This article can explain this further: https://www.tefl.org/blog/tefl-hours-and-levels-explained/ As you will see, this does mean that other TEFL courses cannot be upgraded to a level 5 course, as these are not all Ofqual regulated.
