“The course provides lots of resources and information in the field of TEFL. I think it is excellent practice for when we step into the classroom. The main complaint that I have is with the methodology course, I was was accused several times by software of plagiarism or using AI to write papers, as a college graduate that has not only managed ESL programs but has worked as an in class tutor in public schools with the ESL dept that was quite offensive. In addition, I didn’t feel comfortable or that I had convience to reach out to my tutor or staff if I needed clarification on anything. Over all, the course was suffiencient and I feel like I have a good headstart in actually leading a lesson on my own.”

“If you are interested in teaching English abroad, I cannot recommend the tefl.org course enough. It goes in depth about not just how to teach English abroad, but on the many unique circumstances you may encounter. My tutor, Asif, was very helpful throughout the class and gave me great feedback on my assignments.”

“This may not have been the right course for me, as I already had experience as a teacher. I feel like I haven't learnt anything that I didn't know before, which is extremely unusual for such a wide course. Also, the concepts taught in the grammar section are too simple, those are all things everyone should know already, the course should teach some more complex grammar. In general, it has felt a bit weak for a teaching course which was not cheap at all. Lastly, the videos are terribly slow, the staff tries to make them fun but it just comes across as childish sometimes and I had a hard time watching them without cringing most of the time, perhaps find younger and more dynamic teachers?”

“It was recommended by a friend, as I wish to go and work in Asia. The course wasn't too expensive in my opinion, and for what it can return is absolutely worth it. The course was very interesting, and informative. I enjoyed despite my own difficulties. There was great support from the course teachers, it was within a great time frame too. I was working full-time while did this course, and the 7 month was really good for me to manage my time with everything. The IT support team is also really fast and very effective, if any help needed. I'm now ready to make the next step...”

“I really enjoyed my course and felt a genuine connection to the knowledge being shared. Lessons were well formatted and meaningful. “I have now completed a number of TEFL Courses. I have found them professional & informative, with easy to use & effective lesson plans. I received good resources, suggestions where to find more & learnt/am learning a lot from the videos. Having an online tutor is excellent. The only disappointment so far is the lack of explanations in the EAP course about the various English exams foreign students are required to pass & how to teach them. Thank you very much TEFL.”
