“I bought this tracker after being given a bulky, one by the council and this one was useless. The Techsilver on the other hand is small and light and attractive - so my wife is willing to wear it and that is the most important thing. There is one snag. The battery is supposed to last 1-3 days, but it doesn't. I charge it up each morning and she starts wearing it, fully charged, at 10am and by 6pm or 7pm the battery is exhausted. So I have to set it to only update every 10 minutes and this means that if she wanders out of the geofence it can be 10 minutes before I know and so very much less than satisfactory”

“I find the charging difficult. The wire is very fiddly! If the person with dementia has it, someone needs to go to their house to charge it. No flashing or anything g to say battery is low.”

“To start with i couldn't get my tracker to work. I sent an email as it was the weekend. 1st thing monday morning i got a phone call and it was sorted. Great customer service. (I didn't follow the instructions and blocked it. Ooppps.) The device itself works well, hence the 5*. Would definitely recommend this company.”

“Bought the keyring for the mother in law who has dementia. Product was good the battery does not last. Despite what the CEO/founder said the app is the weakness for the product. Location is not accurate and is not precise enough. It does not refresh quick enough you have to come out of app and go back in. Good idea in theory but not in practice. Very disappointed.”

“This product has been a boon for me. It allows my husband who has dimentia , to have the independence to be able to go out walking when he wants to. It gives me peace of mind as I can follow his progress and see if he is safe. If he gets lost I know where to find him. Being able to speak to him at any time is reassuring for both of us.”

“service support excellent BUT nothing at weekends. Am using the tracker for a roaming dog, and it works: not totally accurate, but good enough, and telephone feature works as final straw [he's terrified!]”

“Bought these light for my dad who has Parkinson’s and regular falls. Like the flexibility of being able to use the light without it needing to be secured in a particular place. This gave us the opportunity of working out the ideal spot which would activate as soon as there was a movement out of the bed. So far no falls at night!”

“Got them for elderly parents in their 80s to replace old iPhone. Parents seem to be doing OK with them. They just need to read prompts on screen but it's early days. They are brilliant phones! Camera”

“As a company, TechSilver are excellent to deal with in all respects. My father is easily able to now read the large keys when typing and checking his emails. Unfortunately the keyboard itself is not quite 100% Mac -compatible as claimed.”

“Absolute delighted with the product. It does exactly ‘ what it says on the tin’. Very easy to set up using the video instructions ( fiddliest bit is connecting the charger, but that becomes easier with practice.) The app shows the route clearly. It has brought peace of mind to us both. Like how it notifies when battery is low or the geofence is breached too. Would highly recommend this neat little gadget”

“The most amazing purchase and just what our 93 year old mother needed who had returned from hospital after a frightening illness to then find herself in isolation in her care home. She loved her new music player from the moment she first played it- listening to her favourite Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Glenn Miller and Il Divo tracks. Her face lit up. She said to me yesterday she would never want to be without it. It has definitely filled a void in her life and provided comfort and a lovely environment in her new care home.”
