“I am old and vinyl remains for me the way to listen to music. For my kid's (all grown up though they are), music plays while they're doing things; for my generation, music was and remains something you stop everything in order to properly listen. Who would deny that there's nothing quite like putting a favourite album on the turntable, watching the arm swing across and the real anticipation before the first track begins? The Audio-Technica deck is fantastic value and works smoothly and perfectly. Thanks K&B!”

“The Edifier R1280DBs Active Bookshelf Speakers with Bluetooth 5.0, Sub Out & Soundfield Spacializer speakers I bought arrived on time. The package was well packed and had as a bonus a small pack of Haribo included, this is something Wiggle used to do. The product is as described and my internet research paid off well, as these budget passive speakers have very good sound quality for their price in my opinion with a decent amount of bass. When the active speakers are attached by Optical cable (one is provided along with phono cables and a line out to phono cable ) to my Raspberry Pi based, touch screen streaming device they make for an excellent Kitchen HIFI. I also tested the sound quality via Bluetooth from my smartphone and was also pleased with the sound quality the bonus that the remote control can also be used to control the track selection makes this a well-priced pair of active speakers. Thie Instruction manual is very basic and in very small print but this is not a fault that K&B can easily rectify other than feedback to the manufacturer. However, once you have set the device up and got used to the controls it is fairly useless anyway. I think one future improvement Edifier could make is to be able to control the Bass and Table via the remote control as I could not work out how to do this unless I missed a trick”
