“Lovely fresh ingredients, easy to follow instructions. I purchased the Timatar Masala, Persian Khoresh and Sri Lankan curry, have had the Masala t was so nice can't wait to sample the other two. Would definitely recommend 👌”

“Not had a chance to use any yet, but had 2 emails in 2 days asking for a review.. for that reason its a neutral review... but here goes.. Had an email confirmation of my order, then no update on my delivery date, and no update to say it had even been sent. I did receive an answer when I enquired... Perhaps you could put more effort into the communication regarding the order updates rather than the all important review of the product. Having said that.. looks really good, well packaged. Looking forward to trying them.”

“Great fun putting the curry together ‘from scratch’ the masala tasted delicious and was very enjoyable. We let ourselves down a little on the onion bhajis unfortunately. Our ‘moon shaped’ onion slices were far too big and it hadn’t occurred to us we needed a deep fat fryer. Shallow frying didn’t do them justice! Overall though, great fun and will be ordering again armed with our new found experience!”

“I LOVE your kits, my husband doesn’t like very spicy food so I like that you can adjust the chillies to suit. This time I made the Goan fish curry with monk fish and prawns, next week I’m making chicken and chickpea korma.😋”

“I convinced my wife that the Goan curry with prawns would be a good idea for dinner (she never likes home made curry but I do). I bought several kits including the Goan to give them a try. To my dismay, the ginger in the kit (use by 17th April so 2 weeks in date) had white mould growing on it. I had to decide whether to throw it all away or cut off the mould and try the curry. I chose the latter, cutting off the bad bits and forgetting to tell my wife it was mouldy (until afterwards!) All in all the curry was quite nice, my wife ate it so a good result on that side. I emailed Tastesmiths but no reply, so I will show the mould here and maybe I will get a response!”
