“Bought 6 packs after being recommended by a friend. The first we tasted was the fish / prawn Gowan curry, Wow, it was fantastic. After our first experience was looking forward to the Tikka Masalla, very disappointed, followed the recipe to the letter, added half the chilli, it tasted Madras + hot and was very bland. We still have 4 packs left from the freezer, not sure what to do, keep or bin!”

“Always asking for reviews and my opinion has not changed still the best about not used a takeaway for a curry in the last 18 months, I will leave it there as I have to go an cook a goan fish curry right now.”

“Purchased a number of Tastesmiths currys, all excellent so far latest purchase was 2 Kormas for my wife who can’t eat Currys with too much spice. No problem with Tastesmiths that include chillies to add as required. Well I just don’t add them which works or fine for my wife. I’ve tried most of the other flavours, I prefer some chillie but not too much so generally only use 1 or 2 chillies pierced but not chopped and remove at end of cooking. It’s the flexibility with ingredients & recipes that I find particularly appealing, consequently I will continue use Tastesmiths Currys”

“The best thing to come out of lockdown, was us discovering Tastesmiths. All the curries we have cooked have been excellent. As a family we particularly like the Sri Lankan curry.”

“Excellent product, you could argue that it is an expensive way to buy spices, however you do not have a cupboard full of spices and that way they are fresh. Easy to follow recipes and once you have cooked them a couple of times you soon adjust them for your taste, good product.”

“Nice fresh ingredients, too much chillies for us but we didn't use them all, it was fairly hot with just the little chilli we used, Sri Lankan curry was our favourite.”

“We heard about Tastesmiths recently from some friends and bought an assortment of 6 items shortly afterwards. We liked the idea of having ALL the items for a recipe delivered and available, plus being able to freeze some for future use. We have tried two so far and found them delicious ! Great idea, well executed but don’t put the prices up !!”

“I’ve been thinking about giving these a try for a while and I’m really glad I did The only one I found a bit complicated was the chilli con carne When I was making it I thought it wasn’t worth the hassle but when I tasted it I changed my mind completely Amazing!!!”
