“We have been very happy with Tailster as they found us a wonderful carer to come in and feed and care for our elderly cat when we go away. The app is very easy to use and you have real peace of mind as you get daily updates and photos of how your pet is doing. The Tailster insurance is also very reassuring. I highly recommend Tailster.”

“Great service by using the ap you can find local people to meet your pets needs. A meet and greet before hand is a Fantastic way to ensure your fur baby will be happy in there holiday home while you are away. My dog 🐶 Jack enjoyed his long weekend with David ( and his new friends Eric and Ernie) and is looking forward to his next ' holiday ' with them 🐾”

“I love Tailster! It really gives me confidence leaving my puppy and my home in the care of what is initially a complete stranger and has grown to be a great friend. It's easy to use and I love the walk tracking and picture updates so I can see where my puppy has been and how happy she is. The ability to review your walker on their profile is brill too! It's nice to know what other people have thought when you are first looking through quotes. Support from Tailster has been very quick and any issues I've had with adverts or booking have been sorted same day. I have told all of my friends and family about Tailster and would suggest it to any dog owner I know.”

“I cannot thank Jonathan enough for his wonderful care of Daisy , even when she comes back after rolling in muddy puddles. Daisy just loves going out with Jonathan and his other doggies and it has improved her socialisation with other dogs”

“Easy to use, I simply uploaded details of my dogs and my requirements and prospective carers contacted me. Only negative would be the amount of mails received from the site 'reminding' me not to book outside the site.”

“Easy to use, great advice (e.g. meet the people before you book them), all payments are through the site, and it includes insurance. Reassuring if you need to be away from home and don't have anyone local to help out”

“Surprisingly easy to use, I found a great new walker for my dog Oakley! Good communication from Tailster when setting up the booking my only request would be some rules cancelling bookings or some T&C's, otherwise I am very happy!! Highly recommend the service!”

“Tailster were able to find me a cat carer in my new neighbourhood where I didn't know anybody, the carer was found quickly and the whole process was effortless combined with free pet insurance booking with Tailster is a no brainer, excellent service”

“It's hard to separate the app from the service we've received from carers. I've really struggled with the app as it's clearly been rushed, and a lot of the functions (community, managing multiple quotes for multiple dates) are rubbish. However, we connected with a fantastic carer that meant we could circumvent a lot of the app and just get in touch with her directly. So the idea and result is fine, but the execution and tech is naff.”

Hi there, sorry to hear you weren't happy with the app. We put pet owners in touch with carers quickly and we've done that with over 90,000 pet owners to date. We always suggest booking through the site/app in order to benefit from our insurance cover, tracking and much more - you lose out on this if you decide to book direct with the carer although that is your choice. Thanks for using tailster to find the perfect carer.

“Tailster has been invaluable to me as a working dog-mom. I have found really nice walkers who are reliable and clearly look after my dog, and it has made my life a lot easier. I do however recommend that Tailster look into improving their website. It is really not user-friendly and between myself and my carers we struggle to get to the right pages to find things. We will get unnecessary emails telling us to go check Tailster when we aren't required to actually do anything, but then at other times we don't receive an email that really should have been sent out to notify us of changes. I'd recommend hiring a design team for the website because other than that the service is great.”
