“My two (very different) Cockapoo's have loved Tails dry food. From my point of view not having to carry extra 4Kg per week on the supermarket shop has been nice but do find the tailored food both a blessing and a curse as I have to ensure that when we are travelling away from home I carry enough Tails to last the trip as one of the dogs has a very sensitive digestion and if I change him to different food it has to be done very gradually, its not as easy as just popping into a local shop to pick up some dog food for him. Like another of the reviewers, I find my dogs are greedy, and although they are not losing weight on the amount of tails recommended, I have to be very careful when walking them as "floor food" is a go-to (dogs will be dogs I guess). Having two (medium sized) dogs the overall cost of Tails amounts to £25 - £30 per month (total) more expensive than the same weight of a "premium" over the counter food (so £300 more for their year on Tails). Being a pensioner with costs rising I may have to start looking at ways to save without totally changing their diets.”

“Charlie loves his food and the price and convenience of delivery is excellent. Unfortunately he is by nature a very greedy dog and he is constantly hungry. We only give him the cup recommended plus the chew bar but he’s constantly looking for food. He isn’t losing weight either. Due to my husband and myself not able to take him for the walks as ling as he used to have, I don’t think that helps. He does have 2 shorter walks daily but not enough. Can you suggest anything.”

“My dog loves his kibble and since this is only part way through the second month of using Tails.com his agility has so improved... although jumping up into my raised garden border not ideal but am over the moon that it is definitely improving his joints! I can totally recommend as he needed to lose weight and we are nearly there and the fact he can have his treats as I am teaching an old dog new tricks! Juke came to me after suffering a bad attack by 2 dogs and did not even know how to play as his recent life had not been great. As a German Sheprador the black lab part lives for food but with tails he seems so much more satisfied after his 'scoops'. The only option personally that could do with tweaking and I guess hard to do is delivery dates. Often I am given a date of arrival and at the last hurdle it is brought forward... having disabilities I cannot guarantee help and delivering earlier than told can be awkward. That said my doggie walker and others have commented on how gleaming his coat is even the shaved areas have grown back in fantastic condition. I am so glad a friend recommended Tails, there is no going back! Thank you ... especially from Juke x”

“My dogs love the food .We have dry food as well as the wet food.The only problem I have is that you can’t stop the dry food .I had to stop my 2nd dog order so that I can use the dry food up,”

“Jesse loves her dry food and since being on tails has lost a little weight… now perfect. Service is great and easy to change if needed. I haven’t given 5 stars as I do think it is a little pricey but generally happy and Will continue to use.”

“My dog loves the combination of wet and dry food. Tails were really helpful when adjustments were made as he showed a slight weight gain. I would give five stars but despite feeding exactly as prescribed I always have lots if dry food leftover and feel that I'm therefore wasting both product and money.”
