“Our dog enjoys the Tails food so much more than his old pouches - more variety and more appetising. The only niggles I have are that the website is usually slow to use and the food comes in so much cardboard - surely these can be fixed please Tails! :-)”

“Our dog Mala was having dreadful problems with her ears and other irritant skin issues. We contacted Tails.com and they put together a kibble mix that has made a massive difference to her condition - previously on tablets 3 times a day with cream daily and now tablets are reduced to one a day and the cream once a week!! We are still trying to get the balance of our order of dry kibble spot on but I always find the team at Tails.com really helpful and they really seem to care when I have to contact them - I was especially impressed when i phoned them and didn't leave a message but they came back to me! The ease of the service that Tails.com offer is such a positive in the busy lives we now find ourselves in. Thanks to all at Tails.com”

“The online portal is effective and clear and I love that changes can be made to our order throughout the month. Hector loves his tails food and all the treats. We love that new products are added and the Christmas hampers are amazing. I have experienced a few minor issues amd queries but these have been dealt with quickly and efficiently. I have recommended Tails to a few friends who have dogs and would recommend it to everybody!”

“I have cancelled my subscription and you still took payment and delivered my pets food order. I cannot access my account via the net as you have cleared the account records and you have not acknowledged my cancellation. My dog would only eat the food so as not to starve. I gave the last delivery to food bank for animals”

Hi Eve, I'm sorry to hear Febi didn't enjoy her tailored recipe; I'm keen to help. I can see you got in touch, letting us know and asking to cancel a day after we'd already taken payment and prepared Febi's July order - which is why you still received this order, as it was already processed. We got back to you letting you know we'd cancelled your account and offering additional support. Such as creating a new tailored dry food recipe for Febi using different flavours she may prefer. “I think Tails is a convienent option as it arrives on your door step without having to think about it, once you have the right blend for your puppy/dog. While I'm sure the ingredients are well balance I do feel it lacks an option to have a more premium/specific range. The first bag of Tails arrived with a vrey different mix and with the second bag which was a different mix, I found my dog was alway hungry and her coatl wasn't silky as it with other products. I've suspended my subscription for now until my puppy is a yr old.”

Hi there, The kibbles making up your dog's unique recipe will slowly change over time as she grows and changes throughout the different phases of life. From puppy all the way through to senior, we'll make sure her health and nutritional needs are met by subtly and gradually changing the recipe each month throughout their life. For example, as a growing puppy in the rapid growth stage, the protein and calorie levels will be constantly altering to best suit their needs as they head into adulthood (which happens at different ages depending on breed). We believe that this gradual progression of their food matches more naturally with the development in physical needs over time - as opposed to a sudden step-change in nutrition to an ‘adult’ diet on any particular day. That being said, we'd really love to look into your pup's portions to see if there's anything we can do to help her feel a little more full, as well as improve her coat - I've dropped you a message so I can find your account with us and see if we can get everything sorted, together. “Excellent service. Flexible and considerate of my dog's needs. Courier delivery excellent also. I think the price is very reasonable and my dog has been much healthier since commencing Tails.com I’ve never had to return anything. I can’t speak highly enough of them”

“The food is far too wet and my dog found it really hard to eat in fact he gave up after a while leaving him hungry. Would not buy this product again especially at the price of it.”

Hi there, I'm sorry to hear your dog isn't a fan of the wet food's texture; we have three texture types, including pate, which is quite firm. I'd love to see what recipes your dog hasn't tried so they can give them a go and continue receiving their tailored dry food recipe, benefitting from tailored nutrition. “Mollie loves the food provided by tails.com,she has never refused to eat any of the recipes. I find it good value as nothing is wasted , tails have listened to mollie having arthritis and that she is overweight their food she is enjoying and losing weight.”

“We followed the instructions for weaning Pebbles off her previous food to Tails. She was wary and I thought it wasn’t going to be any good but slowly she has taken to it and now enjoys Tails for breakfast and evening.”

“We struggled with the kibble for a while. The last bag we had the pieces were smaller and he is enjoying them now. The wet food he does enjoy we give it with some rice or cooked veg. It is good that we are able to have a delivery of just wet food to catchup when we still have kibble left. We have no problem with deliveries always on time.”

“Hi . We have been using tails.com for over a month now we’ll part way through the second month we wanted to try our dog jack on this for health reasons he has hey fever and is on medication for this .as he was scratching to the extent of cutting himself, the medication stopped this but we wanted an alternative to just tablets the tails.com package has really helped jack we have cut his medication in half and are hoping to cut it down more this month he really enjoys his food and seems more relaxed and content .”

“My Labrador prefers tails.com food to Royal Canin brand. We also get extra 3 kg compared with the RC offer (12kg bag). The tails.com feed is freshly made and The delivery is always on time! Definitely recommend it!”

“Convenient, and value for money as you never need to buy dog food from the shops. you can postpone delivery's if your going on holiday, have too much left over from the previous month and or if your not going to be in on the particular day the delivery is due. My only grumble is that the Tails Denta Sticks where gone in a second!!! I thought these things were meant that the dog would chew and gnaw on them to clean teeth, but Skipper just bit once and swallowed, gone in a flash!! Eh hahaha... suppose I cannot complain as I was given them for free, so apart from that everything else is a definite tail wag from us.”

I'd love for us to take a look at Dingo's recipe together to see if there are any changes we can make to help with the price and update your contact preferences. You can always update your contact preferences from the Account tab on your tails.com account, where you can choose how you'd like to be contacted in the future. As each recipe is unique, so is the price you pay; there are multiple combinations of ingredients we can tailor for your dog's nutritional needs, some of which could work out a little more cost-effective.
