“Yesterday we said goodbye to my dad. He was a Jag man which was one of the reasons we decided to use Cribbs in Pitsea so that his final journey would be in a Jag. From start to finish they were amazing. Our initial meeting was with Debbie and she couldn't have been more helpful. She stayed in contact with me the whole time and nothing was too much trouble. When we went to see my dad in the Chapel of rest he looked lovely and it gave our family, especially my mum great comfort to see him looking so peaceful. Yesterday the funeral procession was lead by Danny and from the moment they arrived they couldn't do enough for us. He was respectful, friendly and made us feel instantly at ease. Thank you from the bottom of my heart from myself, my mum and my family.”
“Outstanding customer service! As a family this was our first experience of funeral directors we had no idea what to expect or what we should be doing. T Cribbs Beckton were just amazing from Carol on reception who was sensitive and professional to Taylor who was sooo approachable and professional. No question was a stupid one and she set us at ease. She organised everything so well for us. On the day of the funeral Ben and his team were just amazing as a family we felt in such good hands. They were professional and compassionate in their approach. On an awful day the worst in our lives they were a ray of sunshine. Just a big thank you for all you did.”
“Dear T Cribb & Sons Funeral Directors, Becton,
I am writing this letter to express my heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for the exceptional service and support provided by Andre in arranging the repatriation of my mother-in-law, Marie Terry, to Dublin, Ireland and fulfill her final wish, returning her to the land she held so dear.
Losing a loved one is undoubtedly one of the most challenging experiences, and the process of arranging repatriation added an additional layer of complexity and stress.
However, from the very beginning, Andre took charge with sensitivity and efficiency, ensuring that every aspect of the repatriation was handled seamlessly.
The expertise and attention to detail in coordinating the necessary paperwork, liaising with the relevant authorities, and organising the transportation was truly remarkable and we were kept informed at every step.
The ceremony held in Dublin was a fitting tribute to her life, and we are grateful for the thoughtful arrangements made by your team in Becton to return her to the embrace of her beloved Dublin.
On behalf of my family and myself, I extend our heartfelt thanks to you and your entire staff at Cribbs. Your dedication to providing exceptional service and your genuine concern for our well-being have left a lasting impression on us.
Please accept our sincerest gratitude for all your efforts in making the repatriation a smooth and dignified process. We will forever be grateful for the care and support you extended to us.
With warm regards,
Robert Waters
Dublin, Ireland”

“The kindness and compassion is second to none. When Dad passed away I had no idea what I had to do, Shantelle and Libby guided me through it all from registering the death to arranging the funeral. The attention to detail was superb. Nothing was too much trouble, no question too silly. Joe was amazing, he called the day before to check the detail. He had such a lovely way about him , compassionate, kind and reassuring, and made a difficult day so much easier. The professionalism is second to none, I highly recommend.”
“Before my father passed, I knew who the chosen funeral directors would be, the company I have used several times before and who I knew I could trust to ensure everything would be perfect on the day – T Cribb & Sons. Every effort was made to enquire what we wanted, and our wishes were fulfilled, with further little touches – a single red poppy on the coffin as father was a UK Veteran. Nothing appeared to be too much trouble, even the music for the service was performed by the exact people requested. This all meant so much to us on what was otherwise a difficult day organising friends and family to be at the right place at the right time. Thank you to all the staff for your kindness and professionalism.”
“My mum and I used T Cribbs in the past for my dad, my baby boy and just recently my brothers funeral. We used the T Cribbs branch in Hackney, Mary handled my brothers funeral arrangements with care and compassion she did the utmost to ensure we had a nice funeral for my brother and that everything went according to plan.
You can see Mary is professional & genuinely passionate about what she does. Even though an extremely difficult & traumatising time for my mum and I and also the rest of our family Mary and the team at T Cribbs dealt with us respectfully & empathically. Through the service we received from T Cribbs and Sons we were able to give my brother a beautiful funeral and great send off. A big thanks to you all!”

“Those who lost a family member and the hospital uses this funeral directors tell them know. This place don't know how to treat those who look different from them and don't no how to greet you while in their setting. To distracted in what your looking at like you goner take something. Again don't trust them to look after your belongs and your love ones. My wife and I gave flowers to put on coffin and on the day they must had dropped them and left it looking any how while we had the service. Wife was told few weeks later why didn't she tell them at the funeral. Where the empathy and who says this while u act a family funeral. Also wife was told you managed to take pictures of the flowers but you could not day anything. Again lack of compassion and putting her in a box. I am white man and my partner assian. But they felt they could be this way with her. The pic were taken feom family members who wanted to have memories that's how the pics came about. Not sure if my wife was white the ceo Mr G. GRIBB would have been this way. To top it off we had to wait over a month for complaint to be looked at and that seemed very challenging on their side and they didn't want to acknowledge things and then went back on what they said and what slipped out their mouths. When witnesses over heard them speaking. It seems complaints stay in house and don't get looked at but rather just dust it under the carpet. Dawn aswell seemed to be not supporter to wife many times. You can see this funeral directors are related due to their unprofessionalism and how they have not learnt to show the same respect and carry out a service for our love one. They don't know how to show this to diverse peoples. Biggest mistake we did was allow our love one to be in their care before the funeral. What goes around must come back around for ones to learn. Elm Park t.cribb and Sons and the ceo oversees all but still had a nastry bitter mouth talking to my wife.”
