Our journey began with the lovely Dawn who was caring, compassionate and her total dedication to detail was absolutely outstanding. On the day, Craig and his team showed care, patience and the lovely tribute made by slowing down the cars and walking passed the lake was, spot on guys. Finally, our celebrant Lee who was caring, compassionate and totally engaging the whole of the very large congregation during the service was truly wonderful.

“100% the absolute best there is. They looked after my beloved Mum who rested with them a few weeks ago at Pitsea. Everyone was professional friendly and respectful which made a very sad and difficult situation a little easier. “My husband's funeral was arranged sympathetically by Alison who was very patient with me in between my tears. Barry was our celebrant and he was great and accommodated all our wishes. The actual funeral day was very sad but everything dropped into place like clockwork and it ended up being a perfect sendoff for my lovely hubby. Daniel (who walked before the hearse) was wonderful looking after me and talking me through the proceeding calmly to put me at ease.
A hard day, which was made a happy one by all the personnel I met at Cribbs as the funeral was perfectly planned in every way.

“My Mother-in-Law passed away on 6th December 2024. Cribbs Funeral Directors came highly recommended by friends and neighbours, I had also attended funerals directed by Cribbs. I have to say I was not disappointed with the service we received. From start to finish we were treated with courtesy, sympathy and the utmost professionalism. They made a very difficult task so much more manageable for my wife and her family. On the day of the funeral everything went like clockwork. Directed by James Rickwood the vehicles and staff were turned out in parade ground style and the whole service was totally professional. Thank you Cribbs for making a very difficult situation over Christmas much more bearable. I must also mention the Celebrant Sarah Gilsenan, although independent she was recommended by Cribbs. Once again, she was professional, caring and very thoughtful and made the whole service in the chapel go so smoothly. “Thank you so much to the wonderful staff at Barking and Beckton where they looked after my mother. Everything went smoothly and all my questions answered. I changed my mind about a couple of things and that was no problem at all. Jim was wonderful with his telephone call to me the day before the funeral just to check in. He asked if someone from the family wanted to be a pall bearer, something I hadn’t thought of. My son did that and it was very touching. The considerate and lovely staff made a sad day bearable.
