“Received my Swiss Champ XAVT the other day and have to say it's a most impressive knife! I already had a standard Champ and also the XLT version - which I thought was a bit of a beast, but this thing eclipses them all. It's more or less the thickness of the Champ & the XLT put together! To be honest, as others have commented elsewhere, it's to big to be "used" in any practical sense as the width of the knife completely fills your hand, thus making it hard to turn in your hands if using one of the screwdrivers etc but I suppose if you have hands like shovels, then it could theoretically be utilised thus. I regard it as a collector's item and won't be using it as an EDC - I have my trusty Spartan SAK for that aspect. Quality of the piece is every bit as good as you'd expect from Victorinox and everything opens and closes with precision and a nice "snap" as you do so. If you want the last word in a SAK, then get this one - I think it's worth the money. Speaking of which, Swiss Store was far and away the cheapest place that I could find to obtain one - and I was very impressed by the speed in which I received my knife. Ordered it early Friday afternoon and got a knock on the door by the Postie Sat morning - lovely stuff! Very happy camper!”

“I think this is an very good site and offers a large range. The only exception is that when I ordered my part (international shipment) they do not provide the tracking information automatically to your email. They advise that you have to contact them to receive the tracking information.”
