“The tyre that I put on the back wheel has a lump and bumps each revolution. I’ve swapped it around and re bedded it but no change. I’ll change the inner tube too. Could it be a result if the tyres being folded in storage and will sort itself out?”

“Just about acceptable service. The item took 10 days to arrive and was unusable due to a fault. I wrote 2 emails, neither of which was answered. One was asking why the item was delayed, the other was to request a return. After 4 more days, I called and was politely offered a return for an exchange or refund. I am waiting for that refund.”

“Now, I know you people have got administrative costs but to charge £6 delivery for a couple of seals that could have gone in a Jiffy Bag and posted for a couple of quid is absolute extortion.”

“My comment is that the part I purchased was very small and could have been easily posted by Royal Mail. This would have been cheaper, faster and I would not have to have waited in for the delivery.”

“Delivery really good and normally never any issues. This one time odered ergon ga3 but there was no mention in description whether small or large. Price was excellent so ordered, turned out to be small. Descriptions of items needs to be accurate.”

“I ordered my Shimano e-bike computer (order # 0178-768-622 Item # 47505 )over one month ago & I still have not gotten it nor have I gotten any delivery date confirmation. Therefore it is really hard for me to rate Swinnerton. Plus I have not gotten any response yet to my e-mail to Swinnerton asking when my computer will be delivered.”

“Great to be able to get Shimano 105 gear lever internal shifter part for £1.99 . Would have been happy for it to be sent by post rather than the £5 van delivery. Which was a bit excessive for such a small part and taking emissions and road congestion into account.”

HI just to clarify DHL shipping costs £4.50 +vat, on top of this we have to pay some on to pick & pack, packing materials heating & lighting and also advertising on google so we are losing money as it is on your £1.99 purchase but we rather than restrict customers to a minimum spend we take this hit as a service as lot of shop & websites won't service the small spare parts. We use DHL as they have a 98% hit rate on deliveries unlike the 85% hit rate with royal mail which is why we don't use them.

“The genesis Brixton was packed almost fully inside the box. Good job with that. The only reason why I'm not giving a 5 star rating is because the tyres are 700x32 and not 700x37 as it says on the website. On the other hand the seatpost bolt that connects with the saddle is way above the torque recommended. Already destroyed 2 5mm Allen keys!! In the end I had to take it to a bike shop to see if they can unscrew. I used another seatpost replacement and saddle for the time being.”

“Item took longer than anticipated. Had to call to ask why it was taking so long and when I would receive it. Person I spoke to didn’t know why it was delayed but said I should get it by the end of the week, which I did. Would still buy from again, as price was good.”

“Price was very reasonable for what I was buying. However, the shipping was not good at all. It took 3 days before it was shipped. I ordered the Sunday night and it was shipped Wednesday evening. The courier company (DHL) were awful. So bad that I changed it from home delivery to pick up from store as it was obvious they were making up the fact I was not at home when I very much was! This changed the date to after the weekend and I missed being able to use it. Next time will pay a bit extra and buy it from a store that has a better shipping and delivery plan.”
