“Sale was efficient and we got a good trade-in price for our old unit. However, when we collected our new caravan it had been on the company forecourt for some while. When we got it home we noticed lots of areas where there was green algae, particularly on the roof which was not visible at the showroom. This was not something I expected with a brand new purchase! Furthermore while we were being shown around the van before taking it away I pointed out that the flooring had not been fitted properly and had bubbled and split. This was very obvious but no-one had done anything about it and we now have to bring it back to be rectifyied. Surely this should have been checked when the van arrived from the manufacturer? Really not very happy about this”

Hi Mr & Mrs Beckett, Thank you for taking the time to review and we apologise that your experience has fallen short of our high standards. The floor issue was missed on PDI. As agreed, you will drop the caravan back into us after your holiday and we will rectify the fault and also give the exterior and roof another clean. We will then drop the caravan back to you once complete as a gesture of goodwill. Apologies once again.

“Very helpful - from the beginning of our experience with Alan up to the handover from Lewis. Not pushy and did not try and sell to us - we were able to browse and make our own mind up without pressure - very easy as we found the perfect caravan for our needs and budget.”

“From the moment my wife, Clare and I set foot at Oxford Caravans and met Alan, I can only describe our experience as ‘Excellent’… I had communicated with Alistair by email around some models I was interested in after an hour, we had viewed the 3 caravans I had shortlisted and my wife (naturally) opted for the Alicanto Grande Lisbon… and why not, it’s a beauty. Our many trips too and fro, especially with Viv and Kathy in the shop have just been great and everyone appears to share our excitement.. the team is knowledgeable, professional and above all, genuinely friendly… Swindon caravans, you have the A-Team in place in Oxford, that’s for sure …”

“Very pleased with the customer service from Lewis on the day we initially went to look at the caravans he was very helpful and knowledgeable leaving us to look around the caravans but there if needed. The day we picked our new caravan up it was all setup heating on water connected ready for us to test again very knowledgeable pointing out how everything works. Very pleased with Swindon caravans and more than happy to recommend them and will be coming back for the services.”
