“Recently (February - April 2019) I have had a 6-lesson package with a fantastic coach, Pete.
His lessons were well-structured and carefully thought out. More importantly they were tailored to me and my aims that we established together in our first lesson.
Although I am not a beginner, I suffer greatly from anxiety and just going to a swimming pool these days is a massive challenge for me. However, Pete put me at ease very quickly.
My main goals were to improve my front crawl, and to learn how to do a tumble turn. I now know how to do these much better than I did at the start and I'm in a position to progress further on my own.
Through my SwimNow lessons with Pete I have found him to be a extremely high quality teacher with an obviously wide ranging experience teaching clients with diverse goals and needs.
He has some great ways of explaining how to do things! He also breaks things down for you into easily understandable ideas.
In our lessons I have found him to be a very versatile coach, who can quickly adapt a lesson plan when necessary. He is also extra-patient and positive when things take time for me to learn.
The facilities that SwimNow use in Sheffield are good. I feel the price I paid for my lessons was fair.
When I have practised my strokes a bit more on my own I hope to go back and learn more from Pete!

Venue is a little far from home with nothing closer to Burmingham than East Midlands. However venue is good and the swimming instructor calm, clear and patient. He goes over all elements of swimming (how the water moves and how to use techniques in pools vs. Open water). My experience of swimnow has been absolutely brilliant!
