My boys adore their lessons with instructor Amy-Lee. She is extremely kind and patient yet fun whilst also being an excellent teacher. In just a few weeks of lessons with her, they have both improved already. We are really happy to have found Amy-Lee and are keen to continue our lessons with her.

When I first enquired about swim now I thought that's too expensive but I decided to go for it because I was tired of taking my daughter swimming and stand there while she swims. I met Amy,my swimming instructor, she's so calm reassuring and approachable. That made me trust her and trust myself in the water. She has given methe confidence and the boost that I needed. Amy is an amazing swimming instructor and an incredible person. My daughter has met Amy and she loves Amy too. We love you Amy and keep the good work xx Bonny xx

A particular call out here to Amy-Lee my instructor. Firstly, however, I'd like to say the sign up and after sales service has been excellent too. However the real difference is the experience and careful attention of the instructor. My instructor, Amy-Lee, has thought hard about how to introduce me to swimming. She has worked to understand my fears and provides constant assurance as well as ways to get through them. I've come to trust how she teaches me and she is clear when I am making progress and why that matters. I feel confident I will learn to swim well with Amy-Lee and that's the first time I have been able to say that and I'm 54.

Holly is a great instructor and has boosted my confidence to a point where I am almost swimming without any floats. She keeps you calm and really helps you with the techniques

Booked my granddaughter (Niamh age 6) in for swimming lessons with Amy. She absolutely loves the lessons, her confidence has grown so much. I can’t praise Amy enough she is so inspiring and brilliant with children. Niamh doesn’t need reminding when it’s her swimming day! Niamh says- it is amazing because Amy helps me a lot, if I get something wrong Amy tells me how to do it and then I am able to do it right. I really like doing the pencil float and I have learnt how to swim and how to not hold my nose when I’m swimming and it’s harder when you flap your arms which is what I used to do. Amy is the best swimming teacher and very kind and always helps you. Xx

Although this is a relatively expensive service, what price safety? This is good value for money, one to one tuition from an excellent tutor (Amy-Lee in Cheshire). My son had an unpleasant experience during a group swimming lesson as a child and unfortunately it hampered further learning, until now he’s mature enough at 17, to rationalise the need to be safe and confident. He’s learning breathing techniques, strokes and style in a way that means he will exceed mere competence. His confidence in water has soared; he now has a healthy enthusiasm for taking part in swimming and water-based activities that he previously counted himself out of. As a parent, I can’t recommend the service & Amy-Lee in particular, highly enough.

I am fed up with being told you must learn to swim. It may save your life it's good exercise. I hate water we are land creatures I wont drown as I dont go near water. I can exercise just as well on land. It costs too much tobe able to practise on a regular basis That's in addition to the cost of lessons. I will firmly stay on the side of the pool drinking my cold beer. I'm nearly 70 and have managed this long without swimming no reason to change.

As a mature learner (65) who has always sat watching family enjoy themselves in the pool, I took the plunge, starting swimming lessons with Lisa at a Liverpool venue. I cannot sing Lisa’s praises enough. What a fantastic instructor. I was absolutely terrified when I started 12 weeks ago. Now, due to Lisa’s tuition and patience, I can push off from the side, swim a length of breaststroke, front float and lift both feet off the bottom all without panicking. Lisa has also taught me breathing techniques. My confidence in the water has improved 110%. Without Lisa’s instruction I would still be sitting at the side, not in the pool. Highly recommend Lisa. Amazing instructor with Swimnow. Only regret is I wish I’d done this sooner.

My 7 year old son was taught by Lisa in the Liverpool Region and I would highly recommend her. Not only was she friendly and helpful but she was so patient and really helped him through every lesson. He felt so comfortable and confident when in the water with her and it’s absolutely amazing to see the difference in him. He can now confidently swim all strokes and has no hesitation when diving in or going under the water. In the 12 weeks we spent with her, he learnt more skills then in the 2 years with a previous swimming club. She is a fantastic teacher and the lessons were fun and exciting for him to complete and he couldn’t wait for the next lesson. He has achieved certificates and badges and we will be sad when our journey with her is over. If your thinking about starting lessons with Swim Now you will not be disappointed. I can’t thank Lisa enough for everything. It was one of the best decisions we have made!

Pete was very cheerful, and he always found ways to make the more difficult strokes seem exciting. We are thankful for his productive lessons and hope to have more in future!

My daughter had tried loads of different swimming lessons, but was really nervous in the water so we tried some one on one lessons to build up her confidence. Her teaching Zoe was amazing. She built up Avas trust and was gentle but encouraging. Ava was like a different child at the pool, even after her first lesson. She couldn’t wait to get to her lessons and it was so good to see her happy and smiling in the pool. So thanks again Zoe, you were great.

Our 2 girls (4 and 7) had 3 hours with Zoe at Lincoln who was just amazing with their differing needs. Both girls loved their sessions and are now able to swim short distances independently with confidence. I really cannot recommend Zoe enough! Excellent value for money!

My daughters (10 and 8 yrs old) have been swimming with Pete in Sheffield for a few lessons now and their improvements are really impressive. Pete explains the techniques in easy to understand moves, eg pizza slicing and ice cream scooping, and the girls have regained their enjoyment of swimming again. After years of group swimming lessons elsewhere, I wished we had made the switch to two to one lessons earlier. I would recommend Swim Now and Pete for fun yet productive lessons in a kind environment.

It was my first lesson yesterday and I must say Holly made me feel comfortable in every way, Knowing I’m a starter she encouraged me throughout and told me where improvement was needed. Can’t wait to continue my lessons with Holly. Great instructor to have :D

I’m what you could say a late comer to swimming as I have avoided it for years due to fear of water. At 57 I’ve finally taken the plunge and couldn’t be happier. Holly is just amazing. Calm, confident and totally understanding of how to pace each lesson. Thank you so much Holly! I’m delighted with my progress so far and the fear is less and less each week. In fact I look forward to my lessons 😁🏊🏻‍♀️

My son really enjoys his lessons with Joanne at Barnsley, he has learnt more in a few lessons than he did in 6 months at another swim school having group lessons. Can’t wait to see how he progresses! Well worth the extra money for the private lessons.

Started our daughters swimming lessons with Jo in Barnsley and she has been amazing. Our daughter, only 4 had a traumatic experience at a previous lesson provider and as a result was terrified of the water. Within 10 minutes Jo had her in the pool laughing and having the best time, she even paddled a short distance! Now we have tears when the lesson ends. Can't thank Jo enough!
