Alisha was amazing for my taster lesson. She made me feel really comfortable and was very patient with me. She gave great encouragement without putting any pressure on me. So friendly and approachable. I will be booking future lessons with Alisha. Thank you

My water avoidant 6 yo has made some progress, but the management change has been shocking in terms of losing flexibility. We have been going to Liverpool on a weekend day but it's still a 40 min journey, so not something that could be made up on a school day. - The 1 week notice for absences is very much unfair as, you know, kids don't get sick with 1 week notice. Then you lose £50. - We tend to go away for holidays and half terms to visit family abroad. Before the management change we could accumulate 4/5 planned absences and then freeze 1 month payment because, as I said above, it's hard to make up lessons on other days. Current manager refused to restore this possibility for us so, well, I cancelled. A little bit more flexibility would go a long way in terms of retaining customers.

Alisha is my teacher. From the start she made me feel comfortable and took step by step approach to help me overcome my fear of water. She is punctual and hardworking. It is because of her that I am able to gain some confidence. Would definitely recommend the sessions.

I purchased a swimming lesson package for my son at Brighton, with 6 remaining sessions. However, I am considering discontinuing the lessons due to poor communication and service. Throughout the course, there have been issues such as teacher changes without notification, unexpected teacher absences, frequent pool closures, and scheduling discrepancies. This lack of consistency is disrupting our planned activities and affecting the overall experience. I had hoped for a more organized and professionally managed program, possibly from a school with its own swimming facilities. I have tried to address these concerns by requesting to reschedule sessions to align with our original agreement, but have not received a satisfactory response. This level of service is disappointing and falls short of expectations.

We are very pleased with the 1:1 tuition Jemiah has had so far with swimming instructor, Alisha. She is proficient in her delivery of the lessons, friendly, calm, understanding and adapts/personalises the activities to meet the SEN needs of her 5 year old learner. Jemiah has greatly benefited from the sessions to gradually increase his confidence being in the watervand engaging in the required skills, to earn his first certificate and special requested reward of a monster truck, which he appreciates.

Alisha is my instructor and she is very friendly and puts me at ease even though I am like a fish out of water, no pun intended. Based in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. She explains things well and pushes the boundaries of what she must feel I am capable, even if I don't always feel the same. I am very wary of water but in a short time I can now blow bubbles and put my head under the water while trying to grow in confidence and relax. Alisha is very good at keeping in contact and very punctual. She is a very good instructor and has a great personality. Would highly recommend.

Clare was amazing at helping me develop my confidence in the water and especially under the water over the course of a few lessons in Bristol. She was really helpful at teaching different strokes and giving advice on technique-5 stars! :)

Really poor service from one of the "Leadership team". After initial taster session, I tried to book in for my 2 kids in the Newcastle area but was met by a very rude/condescending member of the Sheffield (not sure why the different city) "Leadership team". Intermittent communication and awful attitude. AVOID

Been waiting months for a female instructor who is off sick in Sheffield. Spoke to Alistair the owner who rang me last week and offered me a taster lesson for free due to the long wait and inconvenience. I agreed to travel out of the area for the free taster lesson which was promised to me last week, with the intention to book with swimnow going forward, for him to now turn around and say he cannot offer it for free as he was under the impression I had already paid? How is this offering a free taster lesson? Literally gone back on his word and changed his mind, he was FULLY AWARE of my whole situation and how I had not signed up yet. Literally been waiting around for months. Really unfair and dishonest. This is from the owner himself. Disgusting. This is the first negative review I have written 👎🏽

Paid for a taster class but they failed to provide a trainer as planned. After many phone calls, I am told they won't refund despite their fault for not having a trainer. Best way to flush money down the drains. Absolute terrible company.

I don’t even Know where to begin, Firstly I want to say a massive Thank you to Holly “HollyBooBoo” from the Swim now team in just 6 (1 hour Lesson) and 1 Taster Session going from sinking to swimming Holly has stood by me and never once did she give up on me even when I was giving up on my own dream job she was able to motivate me which gave me all the confidence I needed and I must say without Holly I really don’t know how I would have landed my Dream job as a Cabin Crew …. Swim Now is Expensive but let me tell you that was the best £570 I’ve ever spent in my life !!!!! I would definitely recommend this company to any and everyone and Holly in particular as the tutor … Thank you again for helping me achieve my Dream Job xx

Once I'd decided to literally take the plunge, my initial enquiry was followed up promptly the next day by Brendan who asked all the right questions and put me at my ease to pair me with the right instructor. I learnt to swim years ago but had completely lost confidence. Emilia is a great teacher, very calm and patient but also encouraging. I can not believe my improvement from the first white knuckle session when my feet seemed glued to the bottom to 9 sessions later swimming almost half a length by myself. I have resolved this time to continue swimming to maintain my new found confidence. Thank you for making this possible, it's been worth the investment in myself.

The service is pathetic. I paid the whole amount around 600 pounds and I have not received my complete lessons, when trying to contact the team no reply from anyone. Amy was my instructor, and Louise and Nick were the team members I was trying to reach. No refund or update was given to me regarding my lessons. Worse experience plus lost my money as well. I don't even want to give one star.

I had a block of 6 lessons with Jaz at Bristol Filton and I was a little apprehensive, having swimming lessons as an adult, however Jaz put me immediately at ease and I felt my swimming improved after only the first lesson. Jaz understood what I was after and pitched the lessons at the right level and made them enjoyable. Thanks Jaz! :)

Ok, so my story may or may not relate to you. I completely failed to pick up swimming through years of school lessons. I have never been confident in water and having tried to address this with various swimming instructors, I made enquiries with SwimNow and fortunately for me, I was teamed with Megan. Megan actually listened to me particularly my fear of water. She encouraged me and provided a great deal of support. The one major thing I struggled with was breathing, a crucial part of swimming. Megan was able to help me with this aspect. It is something I will have to work on but Megan got me over the initial hurdle of being able to immerse my head in the water and breathe, focussing on two strokes and then a breath. It will take time for it to feel like second nature but it is becoming more ‘natural’ as I continue to practice - amazing!!! If you are learning to swim later in life it can be quite daunting. But finding the right instructor is crucial. I can whole-heartedly recommend Megan to you. Take a chance - it’s could be life changing!!!
