“Amy is amazing! I came in at a fairly advanced level and wanted her to teach me butterfly, tuck turn, backstroke and to analyse my crawl she is an amazing teacher! I would highly recommend! I came out of the course confidently tuck turning and all 4 strokes are now much much better! I am now super confident in the water! Thank you Amy!”
“I wanted to thank Amy who has been teaching me 1-1 in Macclesfield to improve my swimming skills and water confidence. I recently retired and felt I now had the time to invest in a program and was very lucky to find swim now and in particular Amy who has been a superstar with me and I would highly recommend her for anyone wanting to get better at swimming !”
“My daughter started swimming lessons with Ryan in January. She started with no confidence whatsoever due to her being autistic and has now progressed through Ryan’s hard work, patience & understanding, to a level of confidence in the water & almost swimming independently. Ryan’s happy & friendly personality enables her to look forward to her swimming lessons each week & we see improvement & progression each week.”
“When I started taking lessons with Nick in Nottingham, I could do a serviceable doggy paddle, and didn't really feel comfortable or confident in the water. After having issues with knee injuries over the past few years, and recent diagnosis of high blood pressure I decided I needed to take lessons to improve my technique, and give me the confidence go swimming regularly.
The advantage of having your own individual lessons is that they are tailored towards your own goals, and your own strengths and weaknesses. Nick is a very patient and calm teacher, and really takes the time to break things down in a way which enables you to learn, even if things seem difficult at first.
The results for me are that I feel so much more confident and able in the water. At first I couldn't even put my face underwater, now I am more than happy to swim face down. I also now feel stronger and fitter and the impact on my knee health has been immensely positive. I can now do activities such as hiking and dancing that last year would have meant weeks of pain and swollen joints. I also now really enjoy swimming; I think I confessed at my first lesson that I hated swimming, and was doing it purely for the health benefits. I am now so taken with swimming that I recommend it to anyone who has mobility issues, injuries or wants to improve their fitness without causing injury.
I wouldn't have been able to improve in the way I have without having lessons however; to try and improve on my own would have been difficult and if you have injuries good technique and choosing the right stroke is important. I am really grateful to Nick for all his hard work with me, and I only wish I had taken lessons years ago!”
“Ryan (Rugby) is an excellent teacher who understands what each individual needs to make progress. He is patient and understanding but still ensures that you make progress.”
“Rugby -Ryan(Swim Now)I like Ryan’s teaching style. Both myself and my son who is 6 years old are being taught by Ryan how to swim. I refused to swim as a child due to fear of water but with Ryan’s expertise l have now overcome that fear. Each week l see my progress. His also very patient and friendly and my son looks forward to his lessons with Ryan. I had tried other tutors but they were not as patient as Ryan so l cancelled my lessons and got in touch with swim now. I would highly recommend Swim now. You wont regret it!”
“Ryan has been an amazing swimming teacher with my daughter and nephew. They have formed an excellent teacher-student relationship with him and really look forward to their lessons. They have both gone from non swimmers to both being confident in the water. We continue to look forward to their future lessons and seeing just what they can achieve with the best teacher.”
“Since my daughter started swimming with Ryan at SwimNow I have seen her progress significantly. Given the pandemic I was concerned my daughter had missed out on so much but after just a few lessons with Ryan she was soon back up to speed.”
“If you want consistency you won’t get it. Bad communication and customer service. My instructor was hard to get ahold of. I had 1 lesson in a month while repeatedly trying to book lessons. Asked for my money back, waited 5 working days. When I enquired about the refund I was told that they forgot to do it. So I have to wait another week. Would not recommend. I should not have to chase someone who is providing a service.”
“We had a great experience with Swim Now. Nick was very patient and persistent with my daughter who was quite shy and nervous of the water at first. We've made a great start and took away handy tips for getting more confident in the water going forward. I would definitely recommend.”
“Nick (Nottingham) was incredible with our two boys! Patient, kind, gentle, yet persistent. Exactly what they needed! We are so thankful to him for all his work with the boys and hope to be able to have more lessons with Nick very soon!”
“I have been having swimming lessons with Pete at Swim Now in Sheffield for the last couple of months and it’s been a great experience. Pete breaks down the techniques of swimming into manageable drills for you to be able to build your swimming skills gradually and incrementally. It has really worked for me. Today for example in just half an hour he go me swimming back stroke using the proper technique in just one lesson. I have never been able to swim backstroke before today. Worth the price and I highly recommend.”
“I’ve enjoyed every minute of my lessons with Holly-Eva. She is so supportive and patient. When I started I was a non swimmer with no water confidence. I now can swim breaststroke and have learnt to float and stand up in the water with confidence. Holly- Eva is an amazing teacher! Thankyou!”
“The lesson did not happen. I was told that they would contact me with a new date. It has been more than three weeks, I have not heard back from them. I will have to get my money back.”
“Ahmed has an introduction class with Paul who understood the fair of my kid , and keep patient until Ahmed can enter the water and now he is so excited to the next class. Thank you Mr.Paul”
“I enjoyed the swim assessment very much and the pool is lovely. But at 11 years old and being 5feet 8 inches tall I felt very out of place and self conscious being in the pool with tots and young children so I have decided not to go for lessons there. If they were to do older and bigger children swimming classes j would definitely go. My little sister who is 7 goes there and she loves it”
