“My husband and I are having lessons to learn the front crawl. We met with our teacher Pete, who has coached us at the right speed, enough to challenge us but not too fast, and not moving on until we have grasped it. We had a set if 6 lessons, but we are enjoying it so much we have booked another 6. Pete makes the lessons fun and we have recommended him to a friend who has recently booked with him too. The pool at the venue in Sheffield is a nice size and we don't feel intimidated by other swimmers. Would highly recommend.”
“Very good although the pool can sometimes be a little crowded and loud which becomes a little bit of a struggle during lessons I’ve noticed.
Not much room on occasions to be able to practise. This weeks session was cut short and more jumping in and balancing on back etc was done due to a lot of people being in the pool which was a shame as the lessons don’t come cheap”

With it being the half term holidays the pool can sometimes be a little busier than usual.

“We are 3 lessons in to a six lesson plan for both a 9 year old and a 6 year old who have previous swimming experience. The instructor Sam is a great teacher he engages with the children and makes them feel like they are having fun while they still learn. “I’ve just finished a 12 lesson programme with Pete in Sheffield so am posting an updated review.
I can’t recommend Pete and Swim Now enough! From shaking with fear in the pool on the first lesson to actually swimming front crawl 12 weeks later is incredible. Pete was fantastic at every stage - encouraging and optimistic when I’d hit a mental barrier and so patient.
I never thought I’d be a swimmer but thanks to Pete, I finally am! If you’re an adult learner, Swim Now is a fantastic choice for lessons.”
