Well to start off.... Before coming and taking these swimming lesson I was so scared to the point I was crying when I first met Amy. Taking these lessons has been life changing from 28 years of dreading the water to now wanting to be in it all the time. Amy was incredibe she was patient but also pushed you when you needed it, it was like going swimming with a supportive friend than a teacher, I can't recommend this company enough! It isn't just swimming lessons it's also therapy to help you realise why you are scared of the water and gain control. Thanks again Amy! You have been amazing! ❤️

Learning to swim as an adult is daunting but Pete is very patient and I now feel comfortable in the water and I am doing things I never thought I would. I plan on carrying on because I don’t just want to be confident in the water I want to swim properly to enjoy family time and time in the pool with my daughter….. definitely recommend!

After years of not going in swimming pools due to being a poor swimmer and feeling very self conscious i finally decided to book some swimming lessons to help improve my swimming and confidence in the water. Tom at Durham was a brilliant teacher. He made me feel at ease from the very beginning. I had three sessions with Tom and the improvement i felt in such a short time was amazing. He was very patient with me and showed me where i was going wrong and how i could improve. His teaching style was very relaxed and friendly. Thanks a lot Tom!!

I was very hopeful when I booked my child onto the 3 month swimming option with a promise that my child would be swimming by the end of it. It's very very expensive but I was willing to invest if it was to get my child swimming. No such luck. Every week I watched while my child was taught basically nothing. Stuff that I could do myself aty local baths. Very disappointed, hundreds of pounds worse off and back to square one.

Tom at Durham helped myself and my husband go from years of slowly making our way from one end of the pool to the other without style, grace or speed to being absolute dolphins in comparison. We are both closer to 70 than 60 so thought it about time we did something to correct our appalling swimming strokes. Initially I signed up for 12 lessons, but Tom’s professional tuition meant that after just 8 lessons I was so happy with my progress that I transferred the remaining 4 to my husband who is also now happy. We joined a gym with a pool to ensure we could practice what we’d been taught each week and can now zoom up and down with style and grace overtaking those who have not had the benefit of this programme. I would thoroughly recommend anyone who is considering taking lessons to do so, especially if you live close enough to Durham to be able to learn from Tom. You might think it’s an expense you don’t need, but if it saves you from years of ridicule from your kids it’s worth it. We both wish we’d done it years ago.

Nick at Nottingham was Excellent with the lessons. Initially I was skeptical about wether I could swim at all regardless of lessons. Glad to say, I am very happy with the progress that I have made while he tutored me. I'm more comfortable in the water and have learnt several swimming techniques from Nick. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to enroll.

Amy has been amazing with my 2yr and 4 yr old. Amy makes the lesson fun and always gives feedback at the end of the lesson which I appreciate as a parent. My 4 year olds confidence has grown and is enjoying the lessons. Would definitely recommend Amy

Can't recommend SwimNow enough! I had a block of lessons with Amy at the Hilton Manchester and she was better than I could have imagined. She obviously knows her stuff and was able to suggest a lot of technique changes to improve my swimming, but more than that she is fantastic at building your confidence and also making the sessions enjoyable. Anyone booking onto lessons with Amy: you'll improve massively and you'll also look forward to every lesson. Thanks again Amy!

I’m not a very confident and weak swimmer and set myself the challenge to get better even though I’m in early 50’s. Jo has had the challenge to help me improve and whilst there’s still along way to go the difference after 3 sessions is remarkable. The lesson is at your speed and ability and I would certainly recommend Swim now and coach Joanne 👍👍

Andy in Leicester has been a brilliant swimming teacher for our 7 year old. She came to lessons having not had the chance to learn to swim yet due to the pandemic. Andy has brought out a confidence in the water and love for swimming that we're delighted with - thank you!

Too expensive and too short lessons. : ) Only for the desperate who don't have any other options.

I’ve been having lessons with Amy in Manchester and I’m so surprised by my progress. She’s really friendly and a great instructor. She explains thoroughly and is quick to praise when I’m progressing, and encourage when I’m struggling. I started as a beginner and I’m really enjoying building my confidence and skill in the water. Definitely worth the investment!

I've just finished a course of 6 hour lessons with Pete and I'm actually sad that there won't be anymore. I'm a 52 year old woman with a fear of water, who has spent all her life being the one on holiday 'watching the bags' - missing out on the water fun and here I am 6 weeks later, diving to the bottom of the pool picking up rings - why didn't I do this sooner? I could swim breaststroke stroke in a fashion but Pete totally changed my technique to allow me to swim more efficiently with the right timing and breathing - I love it! Pete is a lovely lad with a great teaching style. I immediately felt at ease with him from my first lesson. He is patient and encouraging, giving detailed explainations, visual ques and he even gets into the water to demonstrate which I found very beneficial. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this instructor to anyone of any age, looking to improve in the water. I found swim now a fab company to deal with, Linda in admin explained everything to me over the phone, was very friendly, answered all my questions and backed everything up via email. I never once felt pressured to sign up.
