“Enjoying my lessons. I’ve progressed much quicker than I thought I would. Byron is very patient and does well at pushing me to do my best. I thought I’d feel really silly but he puts me at ease and I think this is very helpful. Thank you”
“We paid £35 for the assessment which we attended and was great so decided to join. Following week swimming cancelled due to sickness. The next week we turned up and were sat by the pool in swimming shorts on, to find out it was cancelled that week as well. Unfortunately we weren’t told about the cancellation. Waste of fuel and parking and time. Third week, we tried numerous people to find out if the swimming was on or not. Nobody replied. The morning of the lesson I sent another message advising we didn’t want to leave the house to attend if not on. We eventually got a reply back from the instructor who said he had left. Spoke to head office who blamed the instructor for not informing us earlier and they were so sorry for the service we had. As the instructor didn’t work there anymore I don’t believe it was his responsibility to inform customers. The person we spoke to said they would ensure we were compensated. Of course this didn’t happen. Just another lesson date and time would have been sufficient. Very poor service for the price you pay for the 1:1 lessons. I wouldn’t recommend.”
“Clare (my instructor) was a very good & patient coach throughout my session.
I was a novice at swimming but now I feel very comfortable & confident in the water on my own after just 6 lessons.
I would very much recommend opting for her if anyone is looking for a beginner session to build up your skills.
Cheers.”
“I turned up with my twins 6yo girls as did several other people that day. We changed stood waiting for 15 minutes and no one turned. Apparently, Charlotte, the swimming instructor was in an accident the day before. When I tried to ring both, Lawrence (who took the booking) and the main number my phone was blocked. The desk rang through on my behalf and left messages.
The staff at the pool had no information.
My girls waited over an hour at the main desk in costumes. They were very unhappy and disappointed little girls.
After more calls in the week we eventually spoke to someone and was offered a place the following week. We declined.”
“The reason for one * is because my daughter has not had a chance to take her lesson because ever since she was given a date the lesson has been cancelled by Swim Now three times and we are even considering asking for the money back and try other options somewhere else because our child is so desperate to get to the pool.”
“Lessons cancelled all the time went there for a lesson with my grandson and no one was there they never contacted me to say it was cancelled I booked a 3months course in November and it’s now April and he still hasn’t completed his lessons”
“I wanted to say thank you so much to Evie for being so patient with my boys.
I was crying today when my autistic son just decided to try swimming with the float for the first time ever after 5 weeks and never being in the water or having lessons before.
Both boys have come on amazingly.
Thank you so much”
“I have to say the facilities for a 4 I/2 year old were poor. He is currently a member in third space in London. We were hoping that he would have lessons during his time here. I was pleased to get a place but found it very uninviting. It certainly wasn’t appealing in anyway. That is no reflection on the instructor. I also thought it overpriced fit what it was. I was a member of this particular club many years ago and didn’t feel it had improved that much.”
“I am only on my third lesson, trying to regain confidence to start swimming again after many years. I am very happy with the whole process. My teacher Charlie is wonderful and has helped and encouraged me massively by my third lesson I was already swimming with a float and no longer need to be within touching distance of the side of the pool. Couldn’t be happier.”
“Anthony is doing really well with my Son.He has a lot of patience and techniques , he is flexible and experienced as well.we would recommend him to all our friends”
“I am learning swimming with Pete as a beginner. He is such a great teacher and nice human being.
Mercure hotel in Sheffield has nice facility for the purpose. Only issue is with their reception staff. That needs to be addressed.”
“Training for an Ironman triathlon, I needed a coach that could adapt a plan to help me improve my technique and increase speed. With Pete's coaching we've developed every part of my stroke and I have seen massive improvements. My endurance has increased as a result & on top of that Pete is a really friendly guy who is really easy to get on with. I felt he went above and beyond during out 1-2-1 sessions. Cheers Pete”
“I started lessons last year with Megan and felt comfortable with her teaching style and I’m now taking 2:1 lessons with my daughter. Megan is encouraging and patient and we’re both happy to be taking lessons with her. She’s a lovely teacher.
Also, working with SwimNow has been easy and pleasant. Each member of the staff I’ve interacted with has been responsive and helpful. Great experience thus far”
“Megan is a fantastic teacher. The children love her and my daughters swimming has improved immensely since Megan started teaching. She is enthusiastic and great at teaching the children and keeping their interest.”
“I have been hesitant to go into water for some time now but really wished to learn swimming and decided to take lessons from Pete. He has been amazing throughout, showed me tips and tricks and helped me gain confidence”
