“Delivery didn't arrive until 20.30 on the day and they did not respond. Very bad customer service.the elderly recipient had gone to bed. Also it was left in someone's porch next door. I did not request this 'safe place' as it was being delivered to a nursing home which is staffed 24/7. Very disappointing.....would never use again. I also emailed and messaged informing Sweetie Bouquets that my order had not been delivered despite receiving a notification that it would be delivered between 08.00 and 12.00”

When we receive a report that an item has not been delivered on time, before we reply we always check the tracking. I can confirm that when we received your email, fearing it was not going to arrive on the correct day, we checked your tracking and item was showing as delivered and considered the issued resolved. I can confirm that Royal Mail delivered your parcel at 17:52. Any delivery esitmates they give are aims, but not promises, which they state on their tracking. Royal Mail do not deliver at 20:30 as far as I'm aware. Royal Mail will use their discretion when leaving items safe, this is to ensure items are delivered on time and not taken back to the depot, causing unecessary delays. Most people are happy for them to do this and as the parcel was received by the recipient, depsite them not answering at 17:52 when they called, I'm satisfied they did the right thing and the parcel was delivered on the correct day as expected. I'm sorry you feel this delivery expereience reflects badly on Sweetie Bouquets and hope you would reconsider using our services again in the future.
