We were very excited to use this service for airport transport upon arrival at Suvarnabhumi Airport on January 9th, 2025 to our Bangkok downtown hotel. We came out from Customs and Immigration and saw a multitude of drivers holding up passenger signs but none for our party (we had ordered an 8 passenger van). We went to several counters trying to get information and finally saw a sign with our party's name taped to a counter desk. We inquired and the attendants seemed rather confused and began scrambling trying to find a vehicle for us ... NOT A GREAT START! The second half of our 'trip' five days later was a return trip to the airport ... we were picked up promptly and dropped off at Suvarnabhumi Airport. This is where it got a bit frustrating ... our driver dropped us off at the terminal and drove off. To our surprise, once we got inside, we were told we were at the wrong airport! The carrier we were flying on left from a different airport than the one where we had arrived! We spent 200USD for 2 taxis to take us onward. We were told ANY driver should have known this carrier did NOT leave from Suvarnabhumi Airport. I showed the SunTransfer driver our voucher when we were initially picked up at our hotel ... we have since heard from SunTranfers and told it was our responsibility to know the proper airport. I believe that in principal is true but we were disappointed SunTransfers would not understand how new visitors coming to a potentially unfamiliar country might benefit from having their in country reps checking bookings and raise any red flags like different airport options! PS - BTW, we KNOW the 2 taxi drivers that we used to get to the correct airport overcharged us but we were stuck 😞 We received your final disposition via email on the 21st of January and appreciate your investigation.

Failed to provide pickup at end of holiday. After waiting and calling for nearly two hours had to use local taxi. Were continually told taxi was 10 mins away.

We used Suntransfer in Rhodes. Both arrival and departure pick up was late and at the arrival I had to call at customer service to ask, where our driver is. Luckily we get help from TLT booth and person from there called our driver and take us to the taxi. I think next time I use some other service.

Driver did not meet us at Arrivals in Tenerife. Had to find the Subtranfers stand where the driver was waiting. Be sure to read your travel voucher for meeting instructions.

I have used this company for about 10 years was very happy with them until this year, I booked my taxi for torremolinos is was accepted, but a week before I was travelling they emailed me to tell me I gave a wrong address, and wanted €30 more so cancel them, got another company to do the same journey for less than suntransfare was asking for in the start, there loss is the other company gain, as I used twice a year.

Booked a transfer faro to lagos (Portugal). I was told I will not be told the details of my return & only my hotel would however I was not staying in a hotel. This caused a lot of unneeded worry because it was totally wrong. I was emailed and texted the details of my return & they arrived on time and was really nice driver.

Booking SUNTR_MI5029. We had a late flight into Ibiza and driver was clearly agitated when we arrived. He was also waiting for another named passenger who didn’t turn up for their transfer. There was only one driver there so left us confused as to whether we were both going to share a transfer despite paying for a private transfer. More disappointingly, the driver dropped us off at a nearby bus stop and not our accommodation saying that was as close as he could go. Luckily we knew where we were going but if that had been our first time, in the dark, I’m not sure we would have found the hotel. Asking him where to be picked up for return he said the bus stop. This was not in fact the case, as we rang the company to check and they confirmed collection would be at the hotel as expected. Tried to email at beginning of holiday but still waiting the reply( we returned home yesterday!)Time wise, they were spot on but left feeling anxious for collection. Overall an adequate service but as on holiday in foreign country you don’t expect to have any anxiety or worry over travel-after all that’s what you’re paying for isn’t it?

Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. Was promised a response when I complained about the quality of one leg of a trip - never received any feedback. They're OK - but don't believe 100% they'll be there.

I booked a transfer from my apartment to airport, I paid extra to receive a text for pick up time, never was sent, had to contact them directly the day before then again the day of departure to try to get a pick up time. The customer service team was very helpful and eventually got me a pick up time but it stressed me out not knowing what time they would come

Booked a transfer from Naples airport to Praiano with an english speaking driver. Our drive there was great, our driver even stopped to let us take pictures at scenic points and took some photos of the two of us. On the way back our driver did not speak english, we had to turn on the data on our phones to use google translate, the AC in the car also did not work.

Booking online was easy. Transfer there was late, driver didn’t know where he was going and couldn’t even follow a satnav, it was late at night and very dark and hotel was 3 hours away in quite a remote location down winding roads, we ended up having to use the maps on our phones and point out that he was going the wrong way. It rained a little and his wipers didn’t work. Transfer back was from Papirus transfers, car was nice and driver nicely dressed and got to airport no problems. No other issues with the company and this is the first time I’ve used them so will use again.

PLEASE take some advice and DONT book with sun transfers, we booked for our holiday in Majorca and because our flight was a bit delayed they didn’t bother to turn up. DONT BELIVE THEIR OWN WORDS when they quote “ don’t worry if your delayed your driver will monitor your flights” after no notification that they had cancelled our driver , we then had to stand in a massive taxi queue with 2 young children at 11 pm for over an hour !! Which is precisely why we booked a transfer ! I then later received an email simply stating my booking had been cancelled no explanation no apology NOTHING !! I hope you don’t waste your time or money booking with this badly organised bunch of time wasters !

I’ve used Suntransfers before and they were pretty good which is why I booked them again this year to transfer us from Fuerteventura airport to Corralejo. The driver was there when we arrived, but explained we had to wait for about 10 minutes as one of his colleagues would be joining us on the journey. We were shon to the taxi which was a mini cab that had seen better days. It was scruffy and had no seat belts!eventually the driver and his colleague appeared after about 20 minutes. He took off and drove like a maniac all the way to Corralejo. We were scared he as driving so fast. A couple of times his colleague passed him a mobile phone which he looked at whilst driving. Unbelievable. I was determined that on the return journey I would say something if the driver behaved like that and the taxi didn’t have seat belts........we were pleasantly surprised by a beatiful well equipped minibus driven by a total professional, Francisco. He was a professional driver, courteous, careful and someone who takes pride in his job. What can I say about this company then? We had an experience at the start which convinced me to never book this company again to an experience which was why I used them before. So that is why I titled this Hit and Miss. However I really can’t see myself using the again because I couldn’t risk the chance of driving in a scruffy ill equipped car....no seatbelts? No. No excuse. Francisco is the only redeeming thing in this review.

Drivers were very nice car was clean but if you need to amend anything while away on line forget it. Very difficult to navigate website in so far you send your amendment and wait and wait for response. Not good service for amending anything even when done in timeframe required

Flight was delayed by about 10/15 minutes from Newcastle to Barcelona when we arrived no driver at arrivals and not outside in taxi ranks after 4/5 calls one was sent but had to walk to pick up point at terminal 2B which is approx. 1000m away and my wife has walking difficulties---arrived at campsite 1hr late and had to pay 30 euros for being late---Return taxi and driver was excellent---Will think twice before using them again as this is the 2nd time taxi has not turned up but they did refund me the cost of another taxi the first time.

I have one concern in that the driver who picked me up from fair airport to bring me to vilamoura made me concerned when he said no 1 he didn t think those apartments existed. No 2. He didn t think there would be anyone there to issue me a key. This was disconcerting as I was a woman travelling alone and I arrived in fair airport after midnight due to a flight delay. I would not like anyone else to experience this anxiety at the start of their holiday. As it turned out there was someone at reception and I did get a key and was in the ap partment at 1.30 a.m. the appartment name wise interpass alvaflor.

need to take more care on what drivers they hire in.had the misfortune of been allocated an unreliable and untrustworthy driver who didnt turn up and had the neck to ring the company two hours later to say i didnt show up.got a refund so its better than nothing i suppose
