Flight arrived on time but passport control delayed us coming through to meet our private transfer. We called Suntransfers customer service to let them know. The driver left and they wouldn't reschedule and as it wasn't their fault they will not refund any of the £150 we paid for the transfer.

My HP Spectre laptop was stolen by the driver assigned to us on Friday 26th July 2024 in Barcelona. During the taxi ride, my laptop was placed securely in the pocket behind the passenger seat (photo evidence available and already provided to sun transfers). Upon arrival at the Barcelona Cruise port, we empted the taxi of all our suitcases and before we could double check to make sure we hadn't forgotten anything, the taxi driver drove away. We called the company to alert them immediately. They claim he did not see it and he does not have it. They have refused to give us the driver's number to ask directly. We showed them evidence in photos and videos that we playfully took while in the vehicle, not knowing they will come in handy. Yet they claim it was never in the car. They are clearly an orchestrated crime syndicate otherwise they will support us in getting this laptop back. Both Sun Transfer and their local partners have been dismissive and uncooperative. The service was booked from the Barcelona airport to Barcelona Cruise Port.

I have waited some time before posting this review as I do not normally like to write negative reviews of any company, on the premise they may have been having an off day. Having said that I am very disappointed with the service we received from Suntransfers on our holiday to Spain in June, and have decided that I should advise others of what we experienced – especially as “As a company resolutely focused on Customer Service, please be assured that we take such matters very seriously” is what the company states on its correspondence. Before I start on this year’s unfortunate events, I must say that we used the company last year in Tenerife and had excellent service. This prompted us to use the Suntransfers again this year for our recent holiday. We were booked to be collected from Malaga airport and taken to our rental villa in Cala de Mijas, arriving on a BA flight from London Heathrow on a Saturday morning in June. Our flight from London was delayed by about twenty minutes, which meant we were slightly late landing at Malaga, and coincided with the arrival of a couple of other flights from the UK. We immediately joined a long snaking queue for UK passport control. This queue took over an hour before we were through to luggage collection and finally able to exit the terminal and go to the appointed pick up point just outside the terminal. Having waited some time at this pick up point we had a voicemail message pop up on my mobile phone – but the noise of planes etc. meant it was impossible to hear what had been said. At 12.53 we contacted the local office and were told that our driver had left at 12.21. We asked what we should do and were told to get a taxi and obtain a receipt. We did as instructed and paid euros 68 (plus tip) to one of the airport taxis. We then emailed Suntransfers to advise what had happened and receive a response from “Customer Services” stating the following: “Our driver informed us that he had been waiting for you at Málaga airport since the plane had landed at 11:21 but for some reason, you were not able to locate each other. We then proceeded to call the phone number provided on your booking voucher (+44 07788447829) but were unable to make contact. At 12:21 o'clock we authorised the driver to leave. When we received a call from you at 12:53 (32 minutes later), unfortunately, the driver had already left the airport and could not go back. Our services include a multi-lingual Customer Service team, available 24/7 to assist you during your journey and standard generous waiting times are included in the price. However, in our Terms and Conditions we explain that if the driver cannot locate you a reasonable time after the landing time of the flight, we will try to reach you on the phone number provided during the booking process. Unfortunately, if the phone number provided is incorrect, if there is no or poor connection, or if we can only leave a voicemail, we have no way of knowing if you have arrived at the airport and if you still need the service. The driver can only wait for a prudent amount of time and if no contact is made on your side, he will leave and the transfer will be forfeited. Please also note that the confirmation voucher states that Wait time: The driver will wait up to 60 minutes and monitor your flight for delays. We believe it is fair to expect you to contact us in a timely manner and in this case, a refund is not due. We responded pointing out that we found it very strange that the driver arrived at the airport to collect us at the time we landed. There would be no way under normal circumstances, let alone at a time when getting through passport control was taking so long (I assume this is a fairly regular occurrence and should have been on the radar of the local company). We explained that the level of noise within the airport, and at the Lighthouse meeting point – which we went to as soon as we were able to collect our luggage, was such that we could not hear what the phone calls were saying – all three passengers had a go at listening and failed. Even taking this into consideration there was no way we could have disembarked and passed through passport control and baggage collection in the hour the company allocated us. We believe it is naïve of a transfer company to even consider this as satisfactory . As a result of the response we had received from Suntransfers, we were understandably nervous about our pick up for our return journey to Malaga airport. On the day of our return we were obliged to ring the local office twice as our collection time (9.25 am) had been and gone, and in fact our driver did not turn up until almost 9.45 – despite the local office telling us he was “just round the corner”. Apparently he had been given the wrong address. Having said that, our driver was charming and very efficient. We have no criticism of him at all. Notwithstanding this, there is no way we will use Sunteransfers again for any future holidays. Not only were we left out of pocket, but the tone used in the replies to our emails to Suntransfers was brusque verging on rude. As a company professing to be “resolutely focused on Customer Service I, and the fellow members of my party feel they have a long way to go to even approach satisfactory Customer Service.

Worst transfer company I have used. Our flight got delayed with 35 minutes. As we were waiting at the baggage pick up they called me asking were we are. I explained the situation and said we would be there shortly. After we get out we can't see the driver so I call them back and then responds we were to slow and the driver had left. Now they won't even repay us saying it's our own fault.

We travelled back from Crete ,and we had a booking for a return minibus from our hotel to the airport for a group of 12 . The original pick up time order was 1330 , a day before yesterday evening I received a message from the airline company about our flight being delayed , instead of departure on 1635 , the new time was 1950 so I immediately contacted the chat to make the changes accordingly . The representative said that the local office is closed (around 2000) so he can't assist with this ( not something you would expect when you mention 24hr customer service ) and I needed to contact the day after around 9 and so I did . The representative checked and said that due to the last min change there is no availability and suggested me to cancel the booking or get to the airport 6 hour before departure time. no alternative was offered or even an attempt to solve this issue and as same goes for the refund. The only solution of the rep was wait with kids in the airport 6 hr ahead of time I have to say that I am shocked and disappointed from the level of service provided , as a company that claim to have such a high ranking in tripadvisor and trustpilot and etc I would expect better service , I choose to order due to the promise of free cancellation ,24hr customer service and etc .

Prebooked and payed in advance for a taxi from airport to Benalmadena with baby seat on a late flight. During the flight the company sent a text Message that they are NOT coming for pick up! Got a taxi outside, more expencive and without baby seat. Had to ride with the baby in my lap! Company say they will refund in 10 days! And offers 10% discount next time. There will NOT be any next time 😡

There were several delays last 19/7 and my flight was no exception, with a delay of 3 hours, going from Porto do Palma. I had a transfer from palma airport to my hotel, and when i finally arrived, tired and wanting to go to my hotel, i expected the driver to be waiting for me. No driver, no email, no sms, no phone call. I had to phone the Suntransfers number, and after a while waiting, finally told me the transfer was cancelled, without my knowledge. They didnt even bother telling me. So, after at 4 am i was stranded at Palma airport. Me, my wife and 2 children. I will never use suntransfers again.

AVOID AVOID and AVOID took our money no transfer provided. We were on time for our transfer early even as our flight landed 30 minutes early one of our bags got lost my husband was sorting that out so I went out with my children to find the transfer office found it and told the lady we would be 10minutes still early for what we booked. She turned around roaring at me giving me so much abuse I was shocked my two children started crying. She roared get away I’m marking you as a no show. This was in TENERIFE Also suntranfers will not reply to my emails they are a DISGRACE AVOID THEM

If I could give zero stars I would! This company are totally fraudsters. They did not pick me up in Mexico and refused to return my $170 telling me to claim on my travel insurance or through the airline! absolutely disgusting service avoid at all costs!

I booked a transfer in Tenerife, but had to cancel in February 2024. I realised that they didn't automatically issue a refund of over £200 and have now been dealing with them for weeks to get it processed (still nothing) and has now moved from incompetence to feeling like it's nefarious. Swerve like the plague. Not worth the hassle. Get yourself a cab from the airport and save the distress of having to deal with them if you have to. NOW OVER 6 MONTHS!!!

My flight time was changed 24 hours before departure, so I needed to change my pick up. Suntransfers told me it's their policy that they can't/won't make changes less that 48 hours before the scheduled pick up time and they would not refund the 120 Euros that I paid. I travel a lot and this is the first time I've ever come across a taxi company or booking service that needs 48 hours to amend a pick up time. Ridiculous policy and my advice is to avoid them.

Our driver was not waiting for us with a sign as we excited the luggage retrieval area. When we called the office we were told she was sitting in the cafe. After two more phone calls trying to locate her, we were told our hour had passed and she had left the airport. It was a very frustrating way to begin our time in Spain.

Horrendous experience. Booked return transfer from Barcelona airport to Costa brava. The driver wasn’t there when we arrived. I spent 20 mins trying to get a reply on WhatsApp before phoning an agent. While on the phone the driver arrived, over 30 mins late. He was rude and unapologetic. And clearly late for another trip. He took off at speed for the ten minute walk to where he had parked. He could clearly see one of our group, a woman in her 70s, was using a walker and could not keep up. The fittest amongst us couldn’t keep up and my husband and mother in law ended up far behind and lost. I asked him to pick them up in the taxi but he refused. He played loud music for the entire 2 hour journey. He drove really erratically, weaving between lanes on the motorway. But it was even worse when we go onto country roads and he started overtaking at every opportunity. It was a horrible transfer and when we got there his rudeness was even worse. He screamed at my 13 year old daughter because she tried to open the door to retrieve her iPad which she forgot she had left in the door storage. He made a big deal about getting it back out. We also asked him to wait for a moment to drop our bags to our holiday house, which we wouldn’t have really expected but we have had taxi drivers oblige us before. Again he was rude in his refusal, which there was no need for. We cancelled our return transfer and were very happy with the service we received from another company on the way home. We will never book with sun transfers again. Also good to note they were much more expensive than what we paid for our return journey. I have complained to the company but they take 30 days to reply so I have not had a response yet.

When I made my shuttle booking it said that I would be advised a pick-up time, but that if I wanted an earlier time that was possible. Turns out that was a blatant lie! Once they tell you your pick-up time, that's it - no changes allowed!

AVOID THIS COMPANY!!! - Not even worth 1 Star! Booked Suntransfers to take my daughter from our hotel to airport. Didn't turn up so we had to pay separately for a taxi. Suntransfers have refused to refund us! Appalling service, appalling customer service, appalling company! TRULY SHOCKING!

Contratamos Suntransfer teniendo en cuenta su puntuacion casi perfecta. Pero cuando nos recibió Jonathan en el Aeropuerto de Puntacana, todo se transformo en encuentro desagradable e inseguro. Pues nos abandonó en el aeropuerto y tuvimos que correr el riesgo de pagar un taxi. Cambiamos de compañia para nuestro regreso. Falta de profesionalidad y prepotencia, caracteristicas personales que no necesitamos los turistas que solo queremos llegar seguros y rapidamente a nuestro hotel. No. reservacion: SUNTR_PP4750
