Driver was late (30 mins) could not find our villa even with the grid ref. Unable to contact Suntransfers by phone/internet or live chat to change the pick up location on departure day and it ended up us getting 4 taxi,s at our cost even though we had paid to be picked up. Will not use or recommend this company. Lets hope they post this on the web site.

I arrived in Lisbon airport and NO ONE was waiting. I was assisted by 2 people who worked in the airport as I was in a wheelchair. We paraded up and down the line MANY times ( 20 minutes to be exact) looking for my name and HOPING someone would appear....THEY DID NOT! I did not have access at the time to a cell phone so I was unable to call them. I took a taxi home and as I was arriving my husband was on the telephone with suntransfers. They wanted to know where I was!! I asked them to please refund my $$ as they did not provide the service. To make a long story short, after about 3 weeks they emailed saying since I didn't not call them I was not entitled to a refund.They said they checked with the driver that was to pick me up and he was there!! (Even though I have 2 witness that say he was NOT) I was not entitled to a refund. This must be a Portuguese franchise and here SERVICE and making the customer happy is NOT a priority. They will say ANYTHING TO weasel out of refunding the money! The taxi ride was cheaper than the money they STOLE from me. They nicked and dimed me by emailing me several times to ask for more money for various reasons (area was farther, car was larger). Unfortunately, I was stupid enough to pay. Do yourself a favor and get taxi or uber to your destination. Taxis are so inexpensive in Portugal and there are many lined up and they will estimate the fee before u get in. BAD EXPERIENCE I WILL NOT REPEAT

Absolute shambles expected the taxi i paid for waiting when I go off the plane - my name was amongst 7 others on a board for Hoppa ?!,! I PAID Suntransfers then got lied to. Woman told us 5 mins that turned into 15 which turned into 25 THEN because we kept asking they called a private taxi not using these again and we travel from Faro airport A LOT

Booked a return trip from Faro airport. Collected from the airport ok, but the return trip was a total disaster. The driver didn’t turn up, the company didn’t contact me, and after multiple telephone calls they told me to take a taxi as the driver was running so late that we would miss our flight. Upon getting home and contacting SunTransfers regarding this, they took 26 days to reply and said they wouldn't issue any refund from the cost of booking. Customer service was not mannerly, came across very contrite and arrogant and said they would not review my case further unless more information came to light, which is pathetic. They made up some lies about ‘administrative error’ and used that as the reason behind not refunding part of the transfer cost. Shambolic service... terrible customer service ... horrendous customer satisfaction policy ... they take your money without problem but if they don’t fulfil your two trips they decide to keep the money and not issue any refund. It’s tantamount to stealing!! Will never use again ... BE VERY WARY. Book a hirecar!

Pick up from airport was good. Driver did not turn up for return journey. Book at 15:00 but ended up getting an uber at 15:21 so not to miss my flight. Driver sent a message at 16:05 saying he had arrived, over an hour late. Contacted sun transfers for a refund of half the booking and was told no, offered 18.70 euro and told the driver was there at 14:45. Sent the proof of the message at 16:05 and my uber booking at 15:21. Still do not accept responsibility.

I booked a “premium” minivan, options lower then this was, taxi, premium taxi, minivan, premium minivan etc. up to 8 people with 8 suitcases. Showed picture of merc Vito. Was excited to see the wife and kids think they were vip. Well a scruffy looking fella had my name on the sign. And the vehicle was well, ha s a look at the pics. I emailed the rip off suntransfers and got a generic response which fobs you off for 20 days. I attached the pics to show my disgust. a family holiday and 89 odd euros for a 30 euro ride. Scam scam scam. Shocking disgusting let down, never been so embarrassed as this. To show your wife and children a photo of the ad and get a beaten up taxi. Disgrace

Driver was not at the airport at the agreed time. After we called the customer service. Again no driver to take us from the hotel to the airport very annoying.

Terrible, terrible service. I helped my mum booked a two-way transfer from Manchester airport to Blackpool. On the return leg, the driver came but refused to let my mum and her friends (3 people in total) on the car because he said the luggages could not fit in the boot (it was a small car). We specially requested a car that can carry 3 luggages when we booked. The driver drove away without offering any help. The hotel helped them arranged a taxi but this was already 30 minutes later. My mum nearly missed her plane. I complained to the customer service and provided photos of my mum with her 3 luggages. After one month, the manager wrote back and said the driver and I had conflicting stories. The driver said there were 4 luggages at the time and they decided to stand by the driver’s story. I told them the driver lied and that we even have photos to prove it. However, they ignored our photos and refused to refund our money for the return trip.

I make it a policy to never give a negative review UNLESS you make it a policy to put my children in harms way! We trusted our young adult daughter to your care and you LEFT her at the Nice airport saying “you had a problem with the car but our card was credited back!” YET you claim reliability, customer service, safety and a wide assortment of vehicles! I will post on every review board out there to avoid your company completely! This is NOT permissible in your industry! Our booking was firmly confirmed and paid for! Our trust was in you and the service you offer! I am Beyond upset with the manner with which you did not complete your end of the contract!

Jokers, never turned up for pickup in perpingnan. Had to call a call centre in London and eventually taxi arrived an hour later. DO NOT USE

Do not use. Even though they ask for flight details and state that they monitor them our driver turned up 12hours early for our departure and we were told that if we wanted to make another booking we would have to pay again

I have never in my life written a review but thought now would be a good time to start considering my experience with suntransfers. My husband and I booked a transfer from Santiago airport to Valparaiso - we landed on time and after going through customs tried to find our driver in the spot where we were instructed to meet him. We searched up and down for about 15 minutes and he was no where to be found. We ended up having to find another form of transportation and got scammed and ending up losing $1,000. The scam was not suntransfers fault, but had the driver been on time this would have never happened. In any case, the agent at suntransfer called and apologized. She was very kind and said she would refund our transfer. She was very adamant about the refund due given our troubles and I was so thankful. Well turns out she lied and after consideration they didn’t feel a refund was appropriate. Honestly I wouldn’t have cared about the refund had she not promised I would get one. I’m really off put by these kinds of situations. If you promise something then do it. It’s bad customer service not to. It’s not like I was being unreasonable. It was absolutely a mistake on their end for being late. I will never use suntransfers again because of this.

Don’t use this service. The driver did not turn up and they will tell u they will pay the difference from u paid with them provided 20 days investigation. Very poor quality customer services. Not sure you will get the refund. Don’t use it!

Arrived 10 May in the evening realised husbands passport missing. Rang Suntransfers, they checked with driver & it was on the floor in the taxi. They delivered it to our resort the next day. Brilliant service, would recommend & use again. Customer service brilliant. Thank you Suntransfers for a great service.

Do not use these. Obviously don’t tell the truth, they say they track your flight, yet my transfer never turned up , and Why ....because it was in a different airport that the airline doesn’t fly into. So options given wait another 30 / 40 minutes for driver, or pay taxi out of pocket and submit receipt for refund of the greater amount. No option of a refund without submitting receipt for service not provided. Will take 20 days to check this out even though their customer service told me what to do. Worst customer service ever, never mind no service provided.

Beware of this outfit I recently booked a taxi from Olbia in Sardinia. They gave me a price to take me to the hotel which I accepted. Then I got an email back saying they wanted a further 31 € because it was 5km out of the town I had said. I emailed the local taxi and they gave me a price 25€ cheaper so I went on to sun transfer web site and tried to cancel 4 days prior to flight. You press the cancel button and nothing happens 3times I tried, Then go to there chat option, it does not understand the word cancel, try emailing no reply boxes, no contact number even the emergency number is pre recorded. They of course took the money surprise sunrise! So avoid this outfit at all costs There not the cheapest and are completely unacceptable once they have your money. Google the local taxi operator and email them you can actually speak to someone if there is a problem. I travel a lot and would never use these people in the future.

Tbh I would not give this company 1 star. We have just arrived back from Portugal 9 of us. We got picked up from the airport on our arrival no problem, it was only when we arrived in the resort & the driver left us stranded to work down a road that was like a building site at 12 midnight & said that he couldn’t get to our hotel. We had arranged with another company to pick us up for golf & they managed to collect us from the front of our hotel. After several phone calls to Sun transfers to confirm that we where getting collected from the front of our hotel, the driver was waiting for us where he has dropped us off on arrival. On speaking again to someone from customer services they informed me that the person I spoke the previously had told me that is where the driver was to meet us WHICH WAS A TOTAL LIE I WILL NEVER EVER US THEM AGAIN

We were left stranded in Goa and had to book another taxi to get us to the airport. Even though they confirmed their driver had not arrived they only paid a token refund because we telephoned the local number we had been given and did not call to America or Spain from India to sort it out ! I have cancelled my other bookings with this company because it is only worth paying the premiums they charge if the service is superior, when it fails their customer support is rubbish.
