“This is exactly what science should be; fun, messy and magical. I have done a few of the experiments with my children from the book this summer. We loved the slime recipe having always made it with complicated ingredients before it was a doddle. I recommend sublime science to everyone, it makes science really accessible with simple, clear instructions. I loved the variations and questions as well for extending it. I’m a teacher and I know I will be using inspiration from Sublime Science when we are back in September because do you know what? Children deserve to see that the world around us is amazing and so is science.”

“I have used your on-line sheets for experiments with Brownies, children who have been excluded from school and children who were too ill to attend School. Now I have retired, I use them with my grandchildren. What I like is that although it initially just seems like fun and play, you include the real science behind it. Hopefully it will stimulate their enjoyment of Science and lead onto even greater things”

“I'd love to say I have something planned for each day of the holidays but I don't. The sublime science experiments are a bit of a saviour though. With little to no planning required I can quickly set up something that looks impressive but actually required very few items and is pretty easy to clean up afterwards. The experiments are simple enough to get my preschoolers excited but the science behind it makes them suitable for older children too.”
