“Your sign-up system is not particularly user-friendly, although your customer service has been quite available to resolve things without much fuss. However, the solutions to my requests could have easily been better automated and more transparent on your website.
I also think you could try to be a bit more up-to-date in terms of discussing using AI tools. It feels like the training was just a little out of date in that sense in terms of lack of clarity around using them.”
“If you are going to repeatedly chide and admonish students on punctuality, please remind yourselves of this: Your initial e-mail instructed us to meet at NewCity College at 9.15am so that passes could be issued and the course would start promptly at 9.30am. If the first sign of you is at 9.27am without the correct pass names then this sets a poor tone. It was unprofessional and first impressions do count. Then to be repeatedly told off for lateness (admittedly some of our were) was rather ironic (that's my polit description). The course in parts was rushed and maybe this was geared by for a Friday lunchtime escape to an airport.”

“Overall found the course informative, a lot of content to get through. Really consider if you want a carer in the civil service before registering on the course (perhaps recommendations from JC should stipulate this.) There is a lot more to consider than just uploading a CV, with several specific requirements needed when applying for a job in the public sector.”

“Overall, the course was ok. It did not focus on the Civil Service as much as I thought it would, and spent a lot of time going over creating a CV from scratch, which I was already confident with. There was only cursory coverage of how to use the Civil Service behaviours in applications. However, the tutor's enthusiasm was tangible, and there were some excellent moments included. For instance, the talk and Q and A with the civil servant was fantastic, and I really enjoyed the interview skills.”
