“my experience was awful. The teacher never explained and she told us what to answer in the class assignments and if we didn't write the same words she told us, she didn't approve the homework. “not much civil service content in a civil service training program
exactly what i expected.... about 3hrs worth of civil service content out of the 5 days
the rest of it is AGAIN the usual CV workshop and form filling.... ive done it 5 times now with "Jets" "Restart" "Levels Learning" "Strive" all fancy names for the same week long entry level stuff
i get it... im stuck in the system with people of all skill levels.... i was told to attend by my work coach who put me through the previous workshops.....

You ask questions and she talks about her Alexa and she says i can't waste my time repeating. I feel very demoralised, you raise your hand several times and she doesnt answer, she sends you emails and they bounce back, communication is bad and when you say bare with me my emails are on cue, she doesn't want to listen. She says she got no time”
“I do not recommend the course.
It is absolutely a complete waste of time.
1. You do not get any real feedback. Whatever you write, it is brilliant.
2. You need to wait for other members. It is fine but... You may wait for them for several hours. And while you are waiting you can't go even to the toilet. Because "all go on a break together". You need to sit and stare at the monitor.
The most important.
If you are prof, you will not get any new information or any help. Just spend your time sending your CVs, doing yoga or even watching TV.
If you are not prof.. You have just graduated or you have a gap in your employment... They will put a huge amount of useless info into your head and that is all. You will get more effect if you just google - how can you find job?”

We also want to add, that there is a scenario where you already have a well thought-out, highly developed CV. If this is the case with you, unfortunately you should never have been recommended to join this course. This course caters for people who have a far less developed CV (if they have one at all).
96% of our learners would recommend this course because it gives the CV, skills and confidence that they need to move forward.
“Not helpful, felt unhappy and the training was abysmal. The unkempt hirsute and bearded trainer and I did not connect on any level to benefit from this course. I felt dejected and unhappy having attended and felt it jolted my work search mindfulness I had worked myself to get into. Not recommended .”

1. If there is a problem or question with enrolment paperwork (this is to ensure your qualification is fully government funded), 2. Practical information regarding how to join theonline course, and 3. A twice-a-month jobs bulletin. We assume you are reffering to the latter. However, the overwhelming feedback is that our learners appreciate hearing about jobs that we have sourced for our graduates - and many of our learners are into work because of these bulletins.

“Did not receive the support I needed. Very unhelpful. I felt under pressure to complete tasks and was threatened with withdrawal if I didn’t. Once I withdrew myself, my email was ignored and I was sent another threat of withdrawal from the course. I hadn’t been in full time education for 10 years and was expected to just get on with it. Such a shame as my previous employability course with Strive was great. Very disappointed with the second course I signed up for. Also, the course was GCSE level, it wouldn’t have been beneficial for me anyway as I am degree level.”

“Awful training! Took over six months to mark my work. I have not completed it within 6-8 weeks though, but I never thought I will be on this course for nine months! Meanwhile, I started to work so all those I had to resubmit was a struggle, because of a lack of time, but there was a time when I haven't heard back any feedback from my coach for two whole months.
Once I received an email congratulating me for finishing my course, so I thought everything is fine. Then a month after I received another email from my coach telling me there is a question i need to resubmit because it wasn't correct...is it not ridiculous?
I also realised during the study, I will never work in this area, it is just not for me, however, the job center was pushing me to start this course.”
