“Tutor/assessor – Abi was fantastic, there were a large amount of people on the course (I believe 22) and her patience and tutelage was very much appreciated. She is a real asset and a pleasure to learn from. I feel lucky to have had her as our tutor.
Strive Office/Reception – The office/reception team in Croydon were fantastic. It seems a very intense job helping so many people with computers, rooms, explaining programmes, communication before the course, but they always had a smile when offering help. They really made you feel welcomed to the office/course.
Course – The course is brilliant and the part of the course I found most useful was learning about ATS tracking which I fear has been my downfall on previous job applications. Where I feel the course struggled immensely was with some candidates not having the skills to use the software or basic IT knowledge. This created severe backlogs for a lot of the other candidates. What I would recommend is a pre-requisite course in basic IT (how to copy/paste, how to upload documents, how to search on Google) as the course itself is great but could be completed in a much shorter time frame is people understood how to tackle the tasks needed. This also added pressure on the tutor to be able to mark work.”
“I recently embarked on a business administration course that has completely revolutionised my life. From the moment I began, I knew this was no ordinary experience. The training program I participated in exceeded all my expectations and has left an indelible mark on my personal and professional growth”
“I recently completed the Business and Administration Strive Training course and I must say that it was a truly amazing experience. The course was well-structured and the content was relevant and informative. I found the classes to be engaging and the tutor was highly knowledgeable in the subject matter.”
“I am very pleased that I had the opportunity to do this course where I could learn about the main duties of an administrator and how to implement them.”
“I learnt something new on psychometric and increase my chances of getting my desired job. This is a new skill that I achieved in the course of this training. Well done Carlene Moore for making this aspect clear. Kudos to Strive training.”
“Hi,
The course was very well constructed and our tutor (Antonia) was excellent. I feel motivated and inspired by her through this course, and I cannot wait to put what I have learnt into action.
Many thanks again, Antonia.”
“The tutor Steve presents the course in a clear and dynamic way that encourages you to want to learn. His examples, from real-life experience, made it real and down to earth. He provides a very transparent in-depth overall experience of what you can achieve by undertaking this course to obtain a job in the Civil Service but I believe within any role that you are applying for. I recommend this course to anyone who is looking for work, it will make you think outside of the box in a creative and enjoyable way.”
“Gave me a lot of insight into what recruiters are looking for and gave me information that allowed me to recognise where I may have been going wrong. Simple things like putting the name of the job role I am applying for on my CV had never occurred to me! I feel a lot more confident going forward. Thank you Team Strive!”
“I absolutely adored being at strive training for their two week business administration level 1. Although the course itself was not exactly what I'd hoped, I loved the helpful tutors and friendly reception staff. The outcome for my two weeks could not have been clearer, any questions I had were answered immediately and any clashes any of the class had regarding job interviews/ other commitments were understood and were worked around.
Strive is a wonderful organisation offering a much needed helping hand for those who are willing to work for it. I only wish there were more courses available!”
“The course was very informative overall, I just think the material could be updated, the questions and tasks could be worded a bit more clearly, and for the questions to not repeat as much.”
