“The course was good and I learnt a lot about the recruitment process gaining confidence. However, some of the tasks were basic, and I felt the time could have been better on tailored 1:1 feedback. For example, the practice interview, I didnt get told what the assessor would have scored me nor what i needed to do more to get a higher score. The teacher was stretched to get through the workload of 20 participants and at times it felt a little rushed getting though some of the interesting content.”

“Mid-way through the course, I was invited to attend an interview. The interviwer advised I would hear their decision by 13/08/2025, however, an hour and a half after the interview to say they really liked me and have invited me to a 2nd interview. I believe this to be a result of the training.”

“Strive Training is one of the best trainers I had. They managed to teach us a vast quantity of information in just five days. The trainer, Abi, was very helpful and informative. There are many training courses and seminars around London, but with her you will not feel sleepy or bored; all the information was there to help us and she managed to make us understand the lectures and our job portfolio in a matter of days.

“Carlene was one the most impressive tutros I've ever met.
This course has given me a much deeper understanding of workplace health & safety, structured interview preparation, and the expectations of working within the Civil Service. I’ve learned how to identify and report hazards responsibly, understand the shared duties between employers and employees, and apply practical steps like risk assessment and emergency procedures — all of which contribute to maintaining a safe, professional environment.
Most importantly, I’ve gained confidence in how to present my experience and transferable skills clearly in interviews and applications. Through practice with the STAR method, preparing role-specific answers, and building a strong CV and personal profile, I now feel equipped to pursue roles that align with my strengths and ambitions.

“I was very impressed with the quality of the teaching and support for the students. Tutor(s) were both very knowledgeable & passionate about their fields. The classes are engaging and lively! Employability support is probably the best I have seen so far! The only reasons that it didnt make 5 stars is that the onboarding process could be improved, system is a little clunking and could do with streamlining and capacity could be increased in their employability team for more timely responses, when you do eventually get through the quality is very high.
