“I believe this course was extremely helpful and it has fulfilled the expectations that I have.
Throughout the course I have seen my confidence and applying for a job, tailoring made my CV based on my skills and job’s requirements.
Also, it has provided me with a better understanding of Civil Servant recruitment process, particularly the Open Day involving a gentleman from DWP – he provided a very good insight in a very positive fashion, on how is to be a civil servant.
At the end of the day, I feel sorry for such event being a one-off as I believe there is much more to learn from.”

“Connie is a superb tutor for the following reasons;
1. Included the entire class and encouraged active participation
2. Connie's EQ is incredible, she is patient, kind and empathetic to all learners
3. Connie used professional and personal to demonstrate real-life applications. She was open, honest and encouraged critical thinking
4. Despite also needing breaks, Connie took her personal time to answer questions, motivate, encourage and support those working at different paces

“Very Good. I feel motivated and more prepared especially for Civil Service jobs. I also feel like my CV has been really strengthened in the process. I have already applied for private sector job with my new and improved CV and cover letter and also felt more confident in answering on application forms.
Janet the tutor was incredibly gracious, firm and patient and an excellent coach.
The course reaffirmed my skills and want to work with people and help train and develop people and hopefully become a work coach or people manager.
Feedback to work on:
Could Strive training invest in better cameras and mics for their coaches? At times people had hearing issues and the camera wasn't crisp or completely clear, I used to run zoom events and we invested in this (inexpensive) for the user experience.
Can coaches be firmer with asking people to mute? Could hear breathing/typing etc was distracting. She was very good and firm at asking people to have cameras on however
