“I joined the course not knowing what to expect but having joined, I am glad that I did. Steve; our course tutor, gave us a lot of insights, tips and advice that after the course, I felt so excited and rearing to go sort of speak. Steve was also very patient to all of us especially when questions were fired from all directions, he patiently and profissionaly answered. Overall, Steve is brilliant and I won't hesitate in recomending Strive to anyone. Thank you Steve and Strive for this great opportunity; everyone was great. God Bless.”
“It’s been a great experience and I’ve learnt so much in such a short period of time during my business administration course, I had the opportunity to interact with different people and gained so much knowledge and confidence.”
“I have learned how to manage Civil Service application process. Presentation and advise was very helpful.
Received lots of useful information and feedback from tutor. (CV, cover letter, interviews, STAR method)
Widened my view on applying for job over all.”
“The Strive Training was very useful, it thought me how to create a professional CV and cover letter. The course was well presented and it had all the information students needed. The tutor was excellent.”
“Slow but helpful. A lot of feedback was vague and despite my criteria being met, I was told I need to review answers despite this and there would be no comment by the tutor from this so this is not helpful.”
“The course provided a lot of extremely good content over multiple areas. I have been able to improve on updating a target CV and cover letter. In addition to this I was able to understand the STAR process used by the Civil Service, along with greatly improving interview skills and how to respond to questions.
The course material provided was a great aid during the training. Jonathan did a fantastic job or presenting the course material and was very clear with his communication and answering questions from the team.
It was a very benefical course to attend for me and thank you.
Chris”
“Did you hire a ten year old from Southern California to write the wording for this email?
"We hope you’ve gained a bunch of knowledge and skills from your course!
Now that you’re about to finish it, could you take a second (literally) to rate your experience with the course?"”
“Strive training delivered the course and ensured it was smooth and organised. Steve was a great tutor and had a great charisma about him. He had an excellent insight into the content of the course and showed great passion for the content and helping the people on the course.”
“I am very happy that I had a chance to do the course. The tutor was amazing and the knowledge that I gained is really useful and will help me in my career development.”
“My trainer was excellent.
He couldn't do anything with content as that was beyond him.
Most of us were disappointed with the facts heard from Civil service as we had though it would be a fairly adaptable thing.
The course didn't incorporate any tips for those who want to change careers
We were directed to National Careers service.
Maybe it is good to work with them just as you did with Civil Service.
The examples of situation test we undertook today was fab
I think a little bit more should be built into having real life trials at these areas where people struggle
How to write effective CV's would be fabulous too. We did do it but maybe not so much in depth as we had so much to do and a lot of homework to complete for our portfolio which is not a bad thing at all
Which is all great . Don't get me wrong
I am just feeding bak on expectations that weren't met and this doesn't suggest that the current model isn't good especially since we have people from all over and different entry levels to the course.
Having a go at the interviews were good, the breakout rooms where we had practice was good as we were able to assist each other and provide feedback”
