“Having only ever worked in the private sector, the course I took as definitely opened my eyes to the Civil Service and Public Service world. The Civil Service recruitment processes are quite procedural and may require a fair amount of familiarisation with any departments specific behaviours and success criteria. I would strongly recommend anyome not familiar with the Civil Service careers to attend this 1 week course. Chances are you get an equally professional, knowledgeful and friendly tutor as we had. If you have the opportunity to attend a physical classroom course, I would advise choosing this over remote sessions. The plus points with the classroom setting is the opportunity to meet other people, compare experiences and share advise, all in person.
