The under 30’s hassle with the driver was a joke, after reading your policies it only states 1 years of driving experience and to be above the age of 18, laughable that you wanted to charge me more for being under 30.

Hello James, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and I am sorry to hear that you felt us capturing your age details was time-consuming and inconvenient. Our aim at Stress Free Car Rental is to be as accurate and transparent with the information we provide customers and to ensure we help customers avoid any potential hidden charges. Some car rental companies apply 'young driver' additional fees for drivers who are under 30, and for some, even under 35. As a result, we must capture this information for all our customers at the search stage of the booking journey, so that if any additional charges are applicable, we can advise of these up front so the customer is aware of what extra payments are required at the rental collection desk. After reviewing your booking, I can see that you will be 29 at the time of collection and we did confirm that no additional young driver fees would apply for the particular deal you were interested in and then went on to book. I chose a more expensive company for my hire car at Menorca airport after filtering by ‘on site’ collection. Once confirmation details arrived, the collection was via shuttle bus to an off site location. I have emailed StressFree for a response but at time of writing, I’m feeling somewhat misled.

I have reviewed your booking and we very clearly advised both pre-booking in the car rental terms and conditions and also post-booking, in your booking confirmation email that a refundable security deposit of $2000 NZD would be required at the Snap Car Rental collection desk. I have provided below, both the details where this is stated from the terms and conditions and also the booking confirmation email. Security Deposit from the car rental terms): When collecting your vehicle you will be required to leave a security deposit on your payment card. Security Deposit - $2000 NZD On this class of vehicle Snap Rentals accepts the following payment methods: Visa, Mastercard and American Express credit cards Note – Releasing your deposit Snap will release the hold on your deposit/bond payment within 5 days of your rental ending providing there was no damage/loss or parking/speeding fines. (Can be up to 3 weeks if you choose to leave a cash bond). Excess and Security Deposits (from your booking confirmation email): You've chosen to add insurance from stressfreecarrental.com. If there was an accident or theft of the vehicle, you would still be liable to pay Snap Rentals up to $2000 NZD but you would claim this back through your insurance policy. Our partners at RentalCover.com will email you separately with the details and your policy documents. If you extend your vehicle rental and would also like to extend your cover, please let us know by emailing help@stressfreecarrental.com. You will still be required to leave a security deposit on your payment card when you collect your vehicle and these funds will be unavailable until after the vehicle is returned. Process is complicated by the fact that each time I had to correct something ( age, country of residence) I had to start all over again! Also, I have a problem because I am currently using my husband's card, as mine has expired and I need to go home to collect the new one!

The form is weird. Being able to select your country in the address section is normal, sending you back to the start page is not. Also the flight number was not accepted until I deleted a number from it. Google Pay didn't want to populate the credit card details.

In website was wrote that "Your security deposit was reducet to zero" but than i booked car security deposit was 90 Euros! For the same car.

Hello Eligijus, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and I am sorry that you experienced some confusion at the rental collection desk when you collected the car from B-Rent at Naples Airport. After reviewing your booking with B-Rent through our website, I can confirm that the car you selected did come with zero security deposit. The deposit you were required to leave at the rental collection desk was for a refundable fuel deposit, which is standard practice within the car rental industry when taking a full to full fuel policy. Providing you return the car with a full tank of fuel then this deposit is refunded or the pre-authorised hold is released on your payment card once you return the car with a full tank of fuel. My initial booking experience was good (if not excellent). I noticed in the week before my trip there was a lot of price fluctuations- first the price dropped significantly the bit started to slowing rise again. This is probably because the algorithm gets the best deal for the customers based on late availability. I chose the option of a large car and I was presented with a very good deal, but the car type was not specified it just had “or similar”. When I arrived at the airport the car hire company presented me with the smallest car possible- a 3 door Fiat 500, even though my booking was confirmed to me as a four-door five-person vehicle. The car hire company said they could do nothing as they were acting correctly on the information provided by the broker (stress free carbide.com). The car hire company told me to contact the broker directly. It was very stressful start to our holiday. There was no way to contact stressfreecarhire com on a Sunday afternoon on Europe’s May Day / Labour Day weekend especially as no phone number is given in the booking confirmation. I will seriously consider whether I will use this company again or not.

We were successfull in securing two from three vehicles that we required for our trip to the uk, however we were denied access to vehicles that were advertised on the website and left in the lerch , had to source our vehicle from another source. We requested to physically speak to a hire advisor but told they were only web based so we couldn’t explain what our requirement was. The experience was far from stressless.

Unfortunately, when you were trying to book one of the rental cars, we did experience a system issue with one of our car rental providers that meant we were unable to confirm the booking with them. We did raise this immediately to their support team to rectify but you have since booked through someone else. I can see that you spoke to our Customer Support Team over online chat, on a number of occasions, who did provide alternative quotes, through some of our other car rental providers. Finally, I am sorry that you would have preferred to have spoken to someone over the phone but to ensure we can provide our customers with the best prices as possible, we only operate over online chat and email.
