“I live in the very South West Corner of Scotland, and there is another Crafty Gin Distillery a little nearer than Stirling. That said we now find that any trip up north tended to have a deviation to Stirling Distillery.
Now Covid is hopefully beyond us and we can travel more freely we will be back to Visit Stirling Distillery.
It is interesting, the staff are informative. Our guide on a more recent visit was very knowledgeable, and I'm sure she learned her skills in a Whisky Distillery, this was of course denied, but not believed. No matter what the visitor needs is a guide who can present the process and answer questions. This was very well delivered. Stirling Distillery has, despite its small size, built up a strong following, with some interesting additions to the "Cocktails" of Scotland. The non-drivers on a tour can sample these, and they are worth sampling.
For me, one of the interesting things I found out about the site of the Distillery was that it had spent some time as a Temperance House. I have a ridiculous sense of humour.
