“The York type shoes that I purchased have been comfortable straight out of the box. I find the raised section at the back of the heel a little intrusive at the moment but expect that it will soften with wear. The inside of these shoes is quite soft and pleasant on the feet when walking. Fit seems good for my size 8 and overall finish of the shoes also appears to be good so hoping that they will wear well.”

“Second pair of Steptronic shoes I have ordered in size 12 UK and then they actually got more like a size 11, possibly smaller. They are marketed as wide fitting - in my experience they are not and always size much smaller than other shoes at the same size.
Sizing between shoes varies significantly as I have a pair of size 11 boots from Steptronic that fit comfortably.”

“For formal shoes I always buy Steptronic as they are generally very comfortable. The only downside is that because they don't have leather soles they don't last particularly long. I have been disappointed with their casual shoes as some are very comfortable and some are uncomfortable.”
