“The most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever purchased. Most shoes are very narrow or uncomfortable to wear. Will be sticking with Steptronic in future 10/10.”
“Previously bought a pair of boots and they were great but a large 11 and have needed to add insoles and they are still very roomy. This time when ordering a different boot, chose a size smaller especially as the add said they were extra roomy to accommodate thick socks. Still good quality boot but clearly manufactured by a different factory with different sizing. A much narrower boot and substantially shorter in length, so have sent them back. I would order the next size up but if they still come are too small and I have to send back, they will be £20+ of shipping costs (delivery and return). So, I will not take the risk.”

“This is my eigth purchase of Steptronic footwear the last about 6 years ago. I ordered Merton boot size 45. Nice boot but I preferred the old soles. The new soles look OK but are somewhat stiffer. I found the fit generally less comfortable as my previous ones but again OK. My only real negative is the pull loops on either boot to small as it hard to get my finger in, particlarly the right hand one so they are both different sizes(slightly).”

“My second pair of stepTronic footwear, my son bought some. I borrowed them found them very comfortable so bought a pair for myself, needed some new boots and some brogues, Brouges fabulously comfortable, but boots slightly too narrow despite being the wide Fit, so sadly had to return them. I think the next size up would be too big but I love the comfort stepTronic provide and the customer service so will be coming back.”

“I ordered a pair of Bacton shoes as a result of being very pleased
with a pair of Wembley shoes purchased from Slater menswear
on 31/3/17 with which I was extremely pleased,but which are now,
not surprisingly,past their best. When I went to Slater's last summer,
hoping to buy some Steptronic shoes,they didn't have any and I
got the impression Steptronic shoes were no longer available.
I bought a pair of shoes from a long-established English firm,but
of which I hadn't previously heard. I'd better not name them. I
wore the shoes about three times and had no alternative but to
give them to charity as they were so uncomfortable. When I
subsequently discovered that Steptronic shoes were available
online,I bought a pair.
While they are a huge amount better than the shoes I bought
last summer,they aren't as good a fit as the Wembley shoes -
which were great from brand new. I've had to put in two pairs
of insoles and they still seem a bit sloppy around the heels.
On the plus side,delivery was amazingly prompt,even to where
I am in Aberdeen.”
