With the AI computer system in charge it an absolute Nightmere. I have spent bloody Hours sorting out problems here Dump the AI Computer system. Sack it with a P60 or P65, put in on an electeric chair. Instead 1 Tell me time of renewal 2 let me pay by card over the phone 3 Email policy Total time spent 3 Minutes

Waited ages to get through when my car broke down while on holiday. Then told that you could not help me find a local garage to recover me even though my phone signal was poor and I was stuck on an A road. Couldn’t find a garage to help so called RAC who were fantastic.

Website very confusing. Eventualy made a purchase but then had additional questions to answer so in total frustration I telephoned them and cancelled the order.

Start Rescue comes highly recommended, but to ask for a review of their service the day after I sign up and before the service actually starts is rediculous and has cost them a lot of brownie points. Come on guys, you can do better.

DO NOT USE - HORRENDOUS SERVICE - stranded on side of road with two children one 11 month old. At 9pm Spoke to a women who sounded like she couldn’t be bothered to speak to me. After 15 mins of nonsense she insisted we paid 320 pounds as we had a flat tyre as the policy apparently didn’t cover tyres. Unsure how this is possible. Her idea was then to wait to get reduced and stand on the side of the road at night in winter with two children below 3 and then ring them back after the car was rescued to sort out transport for the kids. She then refused to give me any more details until the 320 pounds was paid. (I am a policy holder by the way) she was snotty and rude on the phone with an I don’t care attitude. Had to find a 24/7 tyre rescue company that were very good. By the love of god do not use start rescue they won’t help. It will just be throwing money down the drain.

I am awaiting a refund, I asked to be recovered and was expected to wait 5 1/2 hours, I had to give up as I ran out of time, as I'm within the 14 day cooling off period I asked for a refund and was told because I made a claim its not possible, the claim was never fulfilled and was an unreasonable amount of time to wait for recovery. I'm very unhappy that they are not willing to refund and awaiitng support form the complaints team. I do not wish to continue with this policy with such awful waiting times. I wasted a whole day already for nothing, I still have a broken down motorbike and I just want my money back so I can go elsewhere and get my issue solved.

I find it more than a little odd to be asked to write a review 12 hours after purchasing breakdown cover - and 12 hours before my cover was due to start. Have given one star because I don't appreciate being hassled to write reviews for a service I can not have had any experience of.

Can,t rate a service I haven't used. But I chose it because I could select the services I wanted without extras from third parties I didn't want, and the price was competitive,and the review and ratings were from respected sources. I bought this for peace of mind and never hope to need to use it, but if I do I am trusting I won't be disappointed.

No moral standing of your company. My last email from you was a automated renewal notification. You told me over the phone the payment was declined. I paid for the highest level cover yesterday evening, yet your company would not understand the situation and would not send a vehicle.

Shocking! Left my 17 year old waiting 3 hours to be then told no one was on there way had to leave work early to get him and his bike home. Pointless service

I signed up with Start Rescue last night. This morning, I received an email saying "....we would like to know how our general service has been since you joined. We'd love to know how you found the experience and would appreciate it if you could take a moment to leave a review". This is how businesses successfully inflate their review ratings based on me filling in my details on two pages of a standard website. The motive of course is to imply that the ratings received for using a standard website, are in fact for the as-yet unused breakdown service and which sadly most people will take to mean were in respect of their breakdown service. That's 2023 for you. Many organisations do the same. I however hate the practice and won't play. This therefore is a 1-star rating for Start Rescue's use of this tactic. If I ever do break down and use the service I've paid for, I'll happily leave a factual review based on the level of service received, good or bad.

Any review of Start Rescue is not possible since I have had no call upon the service. Why is it that reviews of this type are requested by so many companies? It is a waste of my time and effort. I can understand a review request after an incident but would beg that totally inappropriate, meaningless reviews like this are not sought. In light of this and because the system demands a star rating I cannot give more than 1 star at this time.

When I needed to use your services you refused and left me stranded on the motorway. You stated that I was not covered under the terms of the policy. It took many calls and messages, most were not responded to, for you to agree this was untrue and that your breakdown team should have provided assistance. The policy was auto renewed in error.

Thought the price was good so joined but then when needed to call them to rescue me (I had a 6 week old baby at the time and it was mid winter!) they had "nobody available" I had to call a local mechanic to help instead !!! they also refused to refund me my membership given that they did not provide the service I needed when needed. Appaling. I called twice and emailed about the issue and noboydy got back to me despite being promised they would.

My breakdown cover started on 16/07/2023 and the day previous I get an email asking for a review. How can I review a product that not only hasn't quite started, but not used? Once the service has been used I would be able to leave a review but how can I review something I havent used?? If you want an honest review from my experience thus far, here goes.... You took my money and sent me a log-in to view my documents. Hows that?? Companies need to stop asking for reviews as soon as you sign up with them. Customers need to be with a company a short time or even use the service before they can write a review!

I only signed up yesterday. I can't believe how stupid they think people are to write a review when all they've done is sign up. Anyway here's the review after 24 hours membership. I have no idea if Start is any good or useless. Nor could I have any idea. So, 1 star for stupidity.
