I have had nearly £50 taken out of my bank without my authorisation making me overdrawn and unable to pay my rent, I have requested a refund!

Although am willing to keep my breakdown service I didn't ask for it to be renewed automatically, this is extremely annoying and don't know why some companies think it's ok to do this.

Apalling customer service. Refused to answer my request to send hard copy of plan. Repeatedly asked for hard copy. Failed to respond. Made formal complaint. Failed to respond. Asked for my money back. Failed to respond. AVOID THIS JOKE ORGANISATION. Would like to give ZERO stars. You've been warned.

Just re joined called the other day got my daughter covered on her car asked if she had legal protection like me was told I don’t have it anymore see small print this is very poor if I had a crash I would be in big trouble you should have told me we will be leaving you next June and July

Been using Start Rescue for a few years and always had reminder emails of the policy auto-renewing, until this year when not a word until after the policy had auto-renewed. I no longer have the vehicle so would have stopped the renewal. Sharp practice....I’m going elsewhere for future needs.

Worst company I have ever used. don't want to help you at all. would not recommend to anyone look at other places not these. Got a flat tyre and they did not want to know I needed to be towed home and they wanted to charge me £250. was acting clever on the phone which I did not like, I thought it was extremely rude. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!

The communication for re-booking came through very late and contained no detail of the level and amount of cover available. When I had ascertained this vital information I tried to re-book but your website would not accept my payment. After another half hour had passed I eventually received a call from you which involved listening to all the boring guff I had already read on your website. As a result what should be a simple process ended up taking well over an hour. Do you have to make it so difficult to be your customer?

I saw the offers for Start Rescue on my blue light card and thought it was good value so went on to the app on my iphone and entered my registration ad signed up. It wasn't until I got the policy it said that campervans were not covered. This is crazy it like saying my van is covered except when carry a certain product in the back. It's mechanically exactly the same as a standard VW transporter which you do cover? Your customer service was excellent in cancelling the policy but you need to be more upfront with these conditions before purchase?

5* not had to use the breakdown service as of yet. That's when I'll get a better idea of how good they are. They talk the talk but can they deliver what they promise. Time will tell

These people are scammers. I once had cover with them. I didn't need it as I sold my car and I let it lapse. Then, some time later, they took nearly £90 from my bank account when I hadn't asked for any further cover.

Paid Onlinecover for Taxi. No email, nothing. I had to fone for documents to be told. No Taxis allowed? Now waiting for refund. Poor, poor call.

Took 52 hours to recover my car back to my home address. Waiting 3.50 hrs for initial road side collection. Dropped at M1 services waited an hour for replacement breakdown truck. Offered a hotel overnight when I was 60 miles from home. Took my car and provided a taxi to take me home once I insisted on it. Call centre appeared to have only two staff working as my case was locked by a colleague and couldn't be accessed. Car was taken for storage at 7pm on weds eve and returned 4pm on Friday afternoon. Missed a slot at my garage so unable to use car over weekend or following week for work. Really poor service, I've just auto renewed - 1st call in 4 odd years for assistances. Going to try to cancel this coming years cover .

I received email about renewal, price had gone up 50%, you said it was a good deal, I checked online and its a terrible high price compared to other 5 star defecto rated cover. I sent a message to your contact us address telling you NOT to renew, but the message to your customer service address (checked and correct) bounced back as unknown??? So I'd like my money backASAP.

Your admin. is rubbish. I'm still waiting for policy docs. supposedly attached to your email of 2 May. I previously tried to advise you of a change in debit card details only to discover that your 'system' couldn't cope. Communication is a 2-way process. Don't erect barriers!

I have spent days trying to renew my policy after my card expired. I received a call from you reminding me, but the caller failed to mention that the renewal system was not working and I could not renew on line. It was a total waste of time and I'm very disappointed in this lack of service.
