“I have been with start rescue for approximately 4years now, the cover in my view is excellent for the money , on renew they always been below the competition for the same cover ,I have only had to use them once in that time the service was very good and my car was back on the road would highly recommend them ,and I will continue using their service in the future.”

“Been with Start Rescue now for three years. Luckily, only had one breakdown during this time ( broken radiator ) but on that occasion they were FIRST CLASS. Great service. They are certainly not as greedy as the two long established breakdown firms ! ! Can recommend strongly.”

“I haven't actually used their services yet, so was surprised that the renewal price had increased nearly 25% Should have shopped around, must not try to make this mistake in future!😳”

“I have been with Start rescue for 3 years. In that time neither I or my wife has had to call them for anything. Premiums had been reasonable for 2 cars. This year they were increased significantly. A 30% increase is not justified. I went on line and found it could be cheaper with others and with Start Rescue but with an excess for a call out. I think the increase is due to 2 things 1) banking on loyalty returns and 2) age of cars. My cars are maintained by me and are 10 and 11 years old and very reliable. If it goes up again I will leave and go elsewhere.”

We value our returning customers, which is why we always include renewal savings, meaning that a returning customer will never pay more than a new customer for an equivalent policy. We offer policies with an excess through comparison websites as we understand that some customers who rarely breakdown, like yourself, would prefer to pay a lower annual premium but pay an excess should they need assistance. For vehicle based cover, our prices are affected by the ages of the vehicles on cover as this can affect their likelihood to break down. Best wishes, the Start Rescue Team,
