But surprised at the £60 odd for my 11 year old Vauxhall Corsa & only £28 for my husband's 4 year old Qashqai, must shop around next time!!

Easy to renew on line. In the past year had two call-outs first was within one hour but second one took over one and half hours.I had to call to see what was happening.Good job done but rather a long wait.

Very disappointed how much it's gone up compared to last year. Percentage wise it's a big hike.

Hi Andrew, thank you for your time on the phone the other day with one of our Customer Service representatives, they explained the reason for the increase in premium this year, and mentioned that we will be applying a further discount to your policy next year. Best wishes the Start Rescue Team.

Only just signed up yesterday and based this on reviews and which? recommendations. As constructive feed back i would say the website and app are very basic and perhaps need to be developed to be more user friendly.

I can't comment or judge at this early stage of starting my policy with Start-Rescue, but the application process and cost of the plan I took is quite competitive in the current marketplace, which I hope Start will live up to its current reputation -- i.e. when I come to need your services.

As a new member, I am concerned about the lack of easy documentation like a credit card size ID needed when contacting the company for service or any other requirements.

You can also log into your Customer Lounge via the startrescue.co.uk website, your policy documents are located in your online Customer Lounge. Simply log in, select the policy and click on the ‘View Your Current Documents’ tile. You cant change vehicle cover midway the policy

You are correct in that you are unable to change from vehicle to personal cover midway through a policy, you do have the option of starting a new policy from the time the current policy expires. So this is a mixed review. Having used START a couple of times, the outcomes were hugely different. On the first occasion it was a swift response within 40 minutes and I was satisfied with the service. The recent rescue however was a very different experience. A catalogue of errors and lack of communication led to a 5hr plus wait, and a missed event at my end costing me £100. Sadly not the review I'd like to have written. I have recently renewed on the hope that this was a one off.

I can only give 3 stars as I have never haad the misfortune to use START RESCUE in the 12 or so years I have been using them, so really it's an unknown value

Looking forward to a great experience with Start Rescue. Start Rescue have had glowing report and endorsed by "Which", one hopes that they can maintained the service when and if I sanction a rescue.

Hard to rate really as not had to use the service (hopefully won't have to in the future). The online renewal was nice and easy, not a lot else I can say. "The proof is in the pudding" as we say here, if and when I need your service. Watch out for my review then 👍

Review request received hours after policy started, so this is a review of taking out a policy. This was fine, my annoyance was that it appears the start date will be the day the policy is applied for until you get to the final page of the application. I waited until the day I needed the policy to start and then found out that the earliest start time is 24 hours after taking out the policy. Start Rescue - why not make this work like other insurances - e.g. car and home - where the start date is selected someone near the start of the order process?
