I onlytook out this policy a few days ago so it is impossible to have an opinion. I just hope that if I need help in the future that you will be as good as you say you are.

I have been with yourselves for two years and received my renewal quote which was a significant increase. Mainly driven by the admin fee being more than the actual policy Upon looking at other providers, I found the exact same cover for £20 cheaper so have had to cancel my renewal, and then take out a new policy. Not great and doesn't really make customers feel valued and that you want to retain existing customers.

We would like to assure you that the admin fee is included within the price, not in addition to. As we are keen to discuss the new policy you have purchased with Start Rescue to clarify the difference in premium and answer your concerns in relation to your renewal premium, our Team will shortly be sending you an email where we will be able to detail that your renewal premium that was offered was cheaper than last year, and the reason you have found the same cover for £20 cheaper is due to the policy having a £30 excess which will need to be paid each time assistance is needed. Renewal quote was too high. Shopped around and found several better quotes. Start rescue were unable to match the cheaper quotes but did give a discount. I've stayed with start rescue because of tenure. Would be easier all round if you renewed at the best quote. This saves me phoning around and your admin team having to take unnecessary phone calls.

It’s quite hard to review the service I had paid for as fortunately ive not had to use the breakdown/recovery yet. But what I will say is that the whole process of setting it up has gone well and it gives me piece of mind when travelling.

Hi Denis, we attempt to take payment up to two days prior to the renewal date and advise this in our renewal confirmation email, this is because if a customers payment fails, Start Rescue have the opportunity to make customers aware before their policy expires and to ensure they are not left without breakdown cover. I found buying the policy complex. firstly i tried talking to one of your sales people but he/we could not get my credit card to work. Then I bought via on-line. Fortunately the card worked!

Having only just joined, I obviously can’t give an opinion as to the breakdown service. I can however say that getting a quote and joining were pain free and hope that if I do ever need to use the service, it will be just as efficient. I will let you know.
