“Do t get me wrong there really good for their money wise but it says adjustable in the description but sends the wrong coilover key/spanner I’m now stuck stupidly low and wheels rubbing in the arches, contacted customer service and still waiting for a response, week and a half and still waiting”

Hi Charlie, I'm sorry to hear about the issue. The C spanners are added to the kit at the factory so it must have been a picking error. We contacted Stance plus on the 28/11 requesting that a replacement C spanner be sent out to you asap, to which they replied the same day saying that it was sent via Royal mail. It may have been held up due to strike action, You can adjust the shocks without a C spanner, if you would like advice on this please let me know a good time to call you by emailing Support@stanceduk.co.uk, We did try to call but there was no answer. Thanks!

Hi Ben, As discussed via email - in cases where all four shocks leak right away after install, it is highly likely that the pistons have been gripped during installation which has damaged the oil seals straight away as explained this would not be a fault of the product but caused by incorrect installation. As discussed via email, if you can return the shocks so they can be inspected we can come back to you with the cause and if any parts are faulty they would be replaced under warranty or in cases where the kit is new a refund may be offered as an alternative. “Coilovers bought, Failed 1 year later, Stanced admit item faulty NO REFUND I Purchased the Stance Ultra Coilovers Suspension Kit BMW E46 Saloon & Coupe (98-05) Petrol from eBay Been fitted for a year and the rear struts have leaked all over my rear suspension causing the rubbers to deteriorate and causing it to fail an MOT. I was forced into replacing them with stock shocks because I needed my car for work. Stanced-UK admit the parts are faulty but refuse to refund me for them. They are meant to be under a 2 year warranty. Stanced-UK will only replace the parts leaving me well out of pocket.”

Hi Richie, The shocks are covered by a 2 year warranty. We had agreed with Stance plus that they would replace the rear shocks under warranty for you but you requested a refund which was not possible under the warranty terms. “Coilovers quality is great however the height difference between how low the front and rear of the car can go is a long way off. The front can tuck all the tyre at full low. The rears still have an arch gap if you keep the adjusters in”
