“After receiving confirmation of my order by email and confirmed two days prior to the fitting day by telephone only to find that the order had been cancelled when i went to have tyres fitted. No explanation given. No prior notice sent of cancellation. Was given a contact number to ring first thing Monday morning. However this number was not obtainable when dialled the weekend. when rang the local branch they could not get a dialing tone either. Asked to ring them on Monday and if not successful to ring the local office again.”

“After successfully picking my tyres picking the choice free fitting or free delivery which I chose free delivery. Went to check out entered my delivery address and continued to pay all was good. Until 2 hours later a email stating I needed to pay extra for delivery as my address isn't free to deliver to!!!! This should have been stated when I was at check out not 2 hours later. I then cancelled my order. Lost out on my sale how many others due to this???”

“Birmingham Branch. Booked appointment for 11.00am. When I arrived was asked to book another date, as they were busy. I said that was not an option and was asked to park outside. Whilst park near the entrance, another vehicle drove in and was being attended to when I was asked to pull in behind it. I waited until this vehicle had 2 wheels changed, then I had to reverse out to let the other vehicle out. I then drove my car back in and was shown to the display area in front of building. Eventually I made my way back to workshop where my tyres were being fitted. \I asked the fitter to put 33psi in the tyres. When I arrived home, I checked the tyre pressures, they all read 48psi. I am not impressed. The workshop was so dark, that my automatic headlights came on when I entered. It is not a safe place to work with the poor lighting. I would not recommend this tyre fitting depot to anyone. I have not received a receipt for my payment for this work.”

“I was not greeted very nicely and felt I was in the way. I asked for the wheel being changed to be put on the front but they said that they did not have the equipment to do that, which I find hard to believe. I think a little customer service training is required”

“Great price, easy online order/purchase procedure. Booked for 2 tyres and tracking for 11am was told on arrival (at 10:45) couple of cars in gront but no probs, returned at 12.30 the car had only just gone in finally left at 1:20 pm... not entirely happy with the timing but great apart from that.”

“The price for 3 x Maxxis 215 50 R17 was the best I could find anywhere. However when I arrived at my local Speedy's fitting center at the booked time of 11:00, they knew nothing about the order. The van delivering that days tyres had not arrived so they didn't have the tyres anyway. Eventually, after about half an hour, the van arrived and my tyres where on it. After that everything went smoothly. There seems to be no communication or coordination between the company that takes the online order and where you request to have them fitted. The lessons are: 1) Make sure you take proof you have actually ordered the tyres as the fitting centre will not have that information 2) Do not book a 11:00 fitting time as the tyres may not be there Overall I will use them again as the eventual fitting service was good and the price was very good.”

“Good price , quick delivery but let down by wait during fitting . Had a 5pm appointment but my car was not even touched until just before 6pm. I don't see the point of giving an appointment when people are just seen when they turn up in queue . You might as well say am or pm .. just turn up and you will get seen when we get to you.”
