“I contacted as initially my software was not functioning correctly when I switched from a free trial to the paid version. The team responded quickly and efficiently to my query and sorted it out. Sonarworks software has played a central role to my production in my home studio. it is easy to use and set up. I have used its calibration software with headphones to ensure a flat response. I have noticed a huge difference with records I have mixed at home, and brought to the studio. This has saved me time and stress!”

“I ended up on this solution as there are many good reviews online by prominent figures in the industry, a lot of which are not sponsored either. I purchased the reference product during a special which was an easy download and install process. measuring my studio and applying corrections was a breeze and I was pleasantly surprised by how much more accurate the frequency representation was, especially in the mid-range. I have since made much better mixing decisions and have a better understanding of my space and how I can further improve it. Reference is a fantastic solution for cubase users like myself, as you simply add it as an insert in the control room, set-and-forget, this way it is automatically bypassed during mixdown.”

“when i bought it on version three or four, it was a total game changer for me. it really helped me out with my less than ideal room to sound good. it was stable and almost never crashed. a few years down the road, i am rather disappointed. both the systemwide and plugin versions keep crashing on a more or less regular basis. it seems to me, their concentration shifted more towards fancy marketing as for a reliable product. i´d give a five star rating for version 3 and 4, but the soundid product is a 2 for me at best. sorry guys.”

“I definitely have a less than perfect home studio. Using Sonarworks to tune my room and speakers has made it possible for me to listen to my monitors. It has also helped me listen through my headphones while mixing. Glad I bought the program and the microphone. Also tech support was very helpful in getting me up and running.”

“Even with a stellar pair of speakers (ATC SCM25a) I never felt like I could trust my monitoring due to deficiencies in the room. Now that I can properly measure and correct for those deficiencies I know what I send out will reliably transfer into the real world .”

“I purchased Sound ID Reference for Headphones a couple of years ago and I'm very satisfied with the results. Because of my situation, I need to rely on headphones 90% of the time - now I'm able to mix with much more confidence and that's a wonderful thing. The virtual monitoring add-on purchased last month just takes that experience even further and I get a pretty accurate picture of what the mix will sound like. Also, the customer service is second to none.”

“I have used Sonarworks to calibrate several different listening environments over the past few years, and it has felt essential, especially in a small apartment studio. The headphone calibration is also excellent for those times when monitors are not an option. If you've already spent a lot of money on plugins and sample libraries, Sonarworks feels like it increases the value on all your other audio investments. It was unfortunate however that I had to pay to upgrade from Sonarworks 4 Studio Edition to what felt like essentially a rebranding of the same product. I thought when I purchased that version I was investing in something that would be supported for at least a few years to come, but after upgrading my Mac OS that version was no longer supported. It would have been nice to have the new Virtual Monitoring included, but I understand the business needs to keep going.”

“hola a todos, desde Perú, soy carlos, siempre escuché en el mundo de la producción musical que existía un plugin excelente para calibrar las frecuencias de los auriculares y/o monitores, busqué en Internet y encontré SOUND ID REFERENCE en la página de SONARWORKS, elegí la opción que más se adecua a mis necesidades como productor y sin pensarlo compré mi licencia de manera fácil, no fue complicado para comprar el SOUND ID REFERENCE y hasta para la instalación hay información de SONARWORKS para guiarte en todo..... SOUND ID REFERENCE le está dando un cambio para bien a mis mezclas, agradezco mucho su trabajo! saludos”
