“Sonarworks is great, I use it to mix all of my projects, being able to reference my mixes in different applications has improved my mixes and gotten me to finish my projects much quicker!”

“I’ve owned the system wide version for a wile now and find it to be quite good however, I new virtual speaker add on seems to sound a little bit echoey. I have listened to some commercial songs though the new add on and they don’t really sound right. But they sound ok when I put them back on system wide. Also I can’t switch through the different calibrations wile I’m in cubase because it stop cubase for working. I can only pick a calibration, then I have to click back on cubase page to hear it. If I try to put sound I’d on my control room in cubase, it crashes.”

For the Cubase issue, what you could do is try deleting the config file. See if that helps. “Love sonarworks and what it's able to do for my listening environment. The headphones profiles are good but taken a step further with personalized profile configuration when sent off to them. The work it's able to do for my monitor setup is great too. Shopping and shipping experience has been great as well as attentive support when needed. My only recommendation is to keep working out bugs and fixes within the software. As much as I love sw there is still issue that occur with the systemwide app and qol enhancements to be made. Other than that. Great idea thats helped alot of people”

“I have been using Sonarworks products hor aeveral years and recently I added the Virtual monitoring add-on. It is fantastic; you can notice a clear difference between 3 speakers distance. Headphones are now more useful (I use headphones to mix). Vert useful product for me”

“The only reason I upgraded is because you stopped support for reference 4 just as apple silicone was announced and 4 stopped working entirely on Sonoma. Disappointed.”

Hello Patrick, I hope you are doing great! Unfortunately, Reference 4 is not supported natively for M-series devices. To run Reference 4 the Rosetta environment is required. However, SoundID Reference, the successor to Reference 4, is natively supported. I hope this helps! If there are any additional questions, please reach out to our support center. “Finding and purchasing Sonarworks and the Virtual Monitoring Add-on was a breeze. Due to my living arrangements, I can only mix on headphones. It didn’t matter how high end my headphones were, my mixes did not translate well in all environments, so I needed a tool for that purpose. Enter google: “Plugin for mixing with headphones” and I found Sonarworks. That was it! A simple google search, a click on a link and my mixes are much improved!”
