“Sonarworks is a must have tool for the mobile mixing engineer. - I first tried the software via my SoundCloud pro account trial & was blown away by how easy it was to use and didn’t feel as though I needed to dig through manuals to understand the features. It just works. After trialing the program I decided to make the purchase, which was simple and easy to do via the website and program authorization. Again I would highly recommend this program to any engineer wanting a bit more flexibility in their listening environments.”

“Waste of money - just a bit of fluff from sonarworks to eek out another £50. Software is (as usual) buggy, and their customer service just isn't. Another bugbear of mine is that the written instruction is always wrong. The 'just go hear and click on this' written instructions never have the paths that are on my M1 MAC. To conclude - another faceless coorporation pretending to by friendly, whilst always having a eye on your money.”

Hello, Thank you for reaching out! SoundID Reference will not alter your stereo image and the mix will not sound wider, however, with the Virtual Monitoring addon the left and right channels will be heard on both sides as it is a spatial simulation of stereo studio speakers right on your headphones. I hope this helps!

“Recently, I purchased a new pair of Sennheiser HD650s at a great price. I decided to use my savings to have my cans individually calibrated at Sonarworks. The purchase process was pretty easy although I found the web store a bit confusing. The whole thing took about 3 weeks. Despite the time difference, Marco was very responsive to my status requests at every point. Kudos to Marco and Sonarworks for a great experience and to Sennheiser for a super product to start with. BTW, Sonarworks, PLEASE consider establishing a calibration facility in the US. I think you'd get a lot more business if the shipping costs were more reasonable.”

“After a couple of years with Reference 4 I decided to upgrade to SoundID. The site is well done and the iter was pretty smooth. Just got some confusion with the add on, since it wasn't clear how to purchase the upgrade together with the add-on. But after some try it worked.”
