“to be honest, I was quite skeptical about this kind of software. It was recommended to me by a colleague. In the beginning, it really takes some getting used to, but I wouldn't want it any other way now. my Hedd monitors sound so honest now. Very easy are also the presets for most headphones... much more value what it gives you compared to what you have to pay.”

“Big fan of Sonarworks after my first recent purchase of Sonarworks SoundID Reference! Shopping and purchasing was smooth as butter. I couldn't believe how fast it got to me all the way from Latvia with shipping fees included! I actually did an IG live of the entire setup process and posted an edited version on YouTube and my Instagram and my audience found it helpful and interesting. One of my music artist friends reached out after seeing my content and I believe ended up purchasing SoundID Reference + microphone as a result. “Sonarworks listens to us customers. I was an early user of the older Reference 4, and one of my first pieces of feedback was that I would love to have a version of Reference for multichannel. They heard that, and they made it happen. I can't ever remember having a bug with any Sonarworks plugin or standalone version, and their customer service is wonderful.”

“Very much happy with the product. The headphone correction works as advertised. I purchase my software in store and then paid for an upgrade online. Very easy to do so and reasonably priced”

“I heard about Sonarworks in a webinar. It certainly sounded like a product that would help me with my mixing struggles. I went on the site and downloaded the free trial of the SoundID Reference for Headphones. The installation was a breeze, and excellent results were immediate. I didn't need any support. everything was very intuitive. So it was an absolute no-brainer to go right back to the site and purchase the product. Most satisfying purchase I've made in a while. I also discovered the site has excellent information on the website outlining their testing on a whole host of headphones, which really makes choosing a new pair so much easier.”

“Пользуюсь продуктами Sonarworks уже преизрядное количество лет. Сделано много работ международного уровня, благодаря этой компании. Работаю в малоприспособленном помещении и всегда испытывал дискомфорт от сведения. Перепробовал массу разнообразных вариантов контроля, но ничего не позволяло получить приемлемую амплитудно- частотную характеристику в моём помещении. С появлением первой версии программной коррекции звука от Sonarworks, все мои эксперименты по подбору акустики были завершены, ибо картина звука стала адекватной на любых мониторах. Далее приобретал все новые версии программы и каждый раз замечал явные улучшения звучания, при общем и неизменном концептуальном направлении звукокоррекции. Последняя версия программы выше всяких похвал! Рекомендую безотлагательно и безоговорочно абсолютно всем саундпродюсерам! Даже тем, у кого нет проблем с акустикой помещения. Резюмируя- это должно быть у всех и каждого, кто занимается музыкой! Однозначно! Рекомендую к приобретению.”

“I've been using Sonarworks for several years and I'm very satisfied in my "basement studio". Installation and setup is easy and self-explanatory. It doesn't improve the mixes, but I feel confident in what I'm listening to. With the update, the problem of latency has improved and I don't miss anything in the production workflow. As long as the interaction between the sound card and the software (Windows) works, I'm happy.”

“Fantastic product, seemless purchase experience on both occasions. I originally bought the Reference software and later purchased the Multichannel upgrade. The measurement process is very straightforward and the UI and video demonstration make it a breeze. My only minor niggle, is that when you put the mac into sleep mode and reactivate it, the software needs to be restarted. Slight pain if you are running something like Pro Tools through it, as the drop out means you need to restart Pro Tools too.”

As you mentioned in your review that you have encountered some sleep state issues with SoundID Reference, I wanted to let you know that we have recently released a new SoundID Reference beta version (v5.7.3) which includes a major rework of the macOS driver and aims to resolve various issues such as sleep/idle-time problems and the SoundID Reference virtual device disappearing from the output list. We have been working on these improvements for a while now and we hope that the product experience is greatly improved for our macOS users. “I have been using Sonarworks Reference 4 Studio edition for the last nearly 5 years and just recently upgraded to SoundID Reference due to issues with the driver on Windows 10... I'm surprised that the driver issues are gone now...I choosed Virtual Asio to Asio option...Another option that's available on SoundID Reference is the option of choosing to hear your mix on different platforms like Car, TV etc. before finalizing your mix is good and was not available on Reference 4 Studio... Everything seems good to me till now...Satisfied customer of Sonarworks!!! Will definitely recommend to my friends !!! 👍👍👍”

“Although I don’t use Sound Id all the time, it’s very useful to check my mixes over headphones. I think I will eventually do but for now I only use the software permanently on loudspeakers. It’s a great solution to a big problem when your studio is not acoustically tuned. By far the best in the market.”
